Germs Abound in the Valley

Mike Wazowski is having trouble adjusting to life in Disney Dreamlight Valley. He worries that germs abound in the Valley. His allergies are kicking up, big time. And to top it off, there is no Harryhausen’s!

Germ Protection

Adjusting to life in Disney Dreamlight Valley is not easy for Mike Wazowski. Germs Abound. They’re everywhere! Before he’ll even discuss it with you, he insists you wear some protective gear – to protect him from you.

Mike’s a new guest, so buying a pair of Safety Googles is the least you can do to make him more comfortable. A quick stop at Scrooge’s store and a hefty amount of Star Coins later, you’re suited up and ready to get to the bottom of Mike’s concerns.

Quest Task: Order a pair of Safety Googles from Scrooge McDuck.

De-Pollinator Solution

Mike is really struggling with all the flowers in Dreamlight Valley. He needs something for his allergies, or rather something that will reduce the amount of pollen in the air. But not just anything will do. Being a monster, Mike needs a potion with a “monstrous kick”.

While Mike knows how to make a good potion, it’s a special family recipe, he needs your help in gathering the rather unique ingredients. With the list of ingredients in hand, you start off. It will be interesting to see what you can find.

Quest Task: Talk to Mike.

Quest Task: Collect questionable ingredients from Villager Houses.

  • Something suitably slimy and cold from Mickey’s House.
  • From Goofy’s House, something that long ago was wriggly and tantalizing.
  • Something stashed and covered for ages from Merlin’s Library.

Wazowski Family Recipe

Once you deliver the ingredients, it doesn’t take Mike long to whip up a batch of his Monstrous De-Pollinator Solution.

According to Mike, to get the solution to work, you simply add it to the Royal Watering Can and water all the flowers of Dreamlight Valley with it.

All the flowers?!

A Network of Roots

You’re in luck. Merlin recently told you that all the plants in Dreamlight Valley are connected through an elaborate root network. You just need to water some of the flowers and the root network will do the rest. The Solution will be passed to all the flowers in no time.

Pollen and germs abound – no longer!

Quest Task: Water flowers around the Village – 10.

Quest Task: Pick some flowers to see if Mike is still allergic – 10.

Flowers for Mike

After the Monstrous De-Pollinator Solution is appropriately distributed among the flowers, you return to Mike with some blossoms in your Inventory. He wants a few flowers to decorate his house.

Plus, it’s a good way to test to see if the solution worked as advertised.

Quest Task: Make sure you have flowers in your Inventory – 10.

Missing a Contact

Oh well. It looks like you still have more work to do. But that will need to wait until you take care of a more pressing matter.

As soon as Mike took the flowers, he sneezed. It was a whopper of a sneeze too. So much so, he lost his Contact Lens in the process. It flew all the way to Dazzle Beach!

Quest Task: Visit Dazzle Beach to find Mike’s Contact Lens.

Optional Quest Task: Clean the snotty puddles with the Royal Watering Can – 4.

A Trail of Snot

Finding Mike’s Contact Lens turns out to be a fairly easy task. Mike’s sneeze left a trail of Snot behind. Following the Snot, leads you straight to the Contact Lens, half buried in the sand.

Good thing Mike has insurance coverage. That’s one big Contact Lens!

Stress Sneezing

The Pollen may not be the source of Mike’s sneezing issue after all. It appears his sneezing gets worse when he gets stressed.

Time to put a de-stressing initiative in place. The main source of Mike’s stress appears to be Roz. You have a plan to help him deal with that and hopefully enable him to enjoy the rest of his vacation.

Quest Task: Gather the following:

  • Fabric – 15
  • Rope – 23
  • Softwood – 25

Quest Task: Craft a mask of Roz’s face.

Stress Reliever

The Roz Costume was a success. It provided an opportunity for Mike to express his frustrations with Roz and get it off his chest.

After being able to voice his feelings, Mike feels so much better. And the sneezing has stopped!

Now Mike can really enjoy Dreamlight Valley!
