Mike is ready to get started on his Villager of the Month Project. He’s going to make Sulley’s favorite dish for the whole Village. It’s called Hodgepodge a la Monstropolis.

To get started, he needs some fresh ingredients. After some discussion, you and Mike settle on three vegetables. To ensure they are extra fresh, plant fresh seeds in a small garden and wait until they grow.

Quest Task: Plant and harvest some vegetables.

Looking for the vegetable seeds for Mike’s Villager of the Month Project? All of them can be purchased from Goofy. Nonetheless, they are each found at a different one of Goofy’s Stalls.

It’s noteworthy that “time to grow” in the lists below, refers to how long it takes to grow the seed, if planted in the Biome where the seed is sold. The seeds will still grow just find, but may take slightly longer to grow, if planted in a different Biome.

In a hurry for the vegetables to grow? Head to a crafting station and brew up a batch of Miracle Growth Elixir. Use it from your Inventory, before watering your freshly planted seeds, and your Royal Watering Can will temporarily have the power to turn your dry plants into mature vegetables.

Miracle Growth Elixir Crafting Recipe:

• 10 Vitalys Crystal
• 10 Rich Soil
• 500 Dreamlight

Duration: Enough to water 20 plants

Sell to Goofy for: 500 Star Coin

If you want the magic to last longer, craft the Even More Miraculous Growth Elixir.

After harvesting the fresh vegetables, head to find Mike. You’re a little surprised at his reaction. He was looking for something with… lumps?

Hmm, maybe your definition and Mike’s definition of “fresh” is a little different. Since Mike usually gets his produce from Remy, it’s best to consult the Master Chef.

Quest Task: Make sure the ingredients are in your Inventory:

• Carrots – 2
• Corn – 2
• Bell Peppers – 2

Quest Task: Bring the Ingredients to Mike.

Remy is obviously an expert at what he does. He informs you that he always adds Fresh Compost to meals he makes for Mike. According to Remy, Monster’s palates prefer “a degree of decay”.

Okay…that’s a bit strange, but it seems to work for Mike. Guess you’ll just have to find some fresh compost.

Your timing on this project appears to be good. Remy just put some compost around Chez Remy, to enrich the soil there. You’re welcome to it.

Quest Task: Find Fresh Compost around the Restaurant in Dreamlight Valley – 2.

The Compost was just what you needed to round out Mike’s Villager of the Month Project recipe. Since you have all the ingredients for Mike’s special dish, head to a cooking station.

Throw the vegetables and compost into your pot and watch the magic. You’ll also need 2 pieces of coal for your stove, one for each meal. If you’re coal inventory is low, there is always some for sale at Kristoff’s Stall.

Quest Task: Cook 2 bowls of Hodgepodge a la Monstropolis – 2.

Delivering the meals to Mike, you can feel his excitement. The Mike for Villager of the Month Campaign is just about complete. He’ll take care of giving these meals to Sulley.

And, when he’s done, he is going to go work on that acceptance speech!
