Scrooge McDuck has been looking around Eternity Isle and has a few tips for you. He’s uncovered some information on the ancient machines that used to assist the residents in their daily tasks.

He’s also found an Ancient Blueprint that can be used at one of the Timebending Tables. All you need are the right parts and some Mist.

Time to get started.

The first order of business is upgrading your Royal Hourglass to Level 1, if it’s not already there.

Only a Royal Hourglass at Level 1 or above will be able to detect the parts needed to make the Ancient Gardener.

Upgrading the level of your Royal Hourglass is done at any Timebending Table. “All” it takes to get it to Level 1 is 5000 Mist.

Quest Task: Upgrade your Hourglass to level 1 to be able to find and craft more treasures.

You find blueprints for several different Ancient Machines at the Timebending Station. Since resources are limited, you will likely have to choose which one to start with. It’s a hard choice.

Here’s a rundown of what the basic models do. The advanced models can do even more!

Basic Ancient Vacuum

• Function: Collects all the Splinters of Fate or Night Thorns in the Biome
• Resources to Build:
  • Ancient Core (Level 1) – 2
  • Mist – 2000
  • Ancient Magnet – 3
  • Ancient Belt – 3
• Cost to Run: 10 Mist per individual item collected. (i.e. 5 splinters of fate costs 50 Mist)

Basic Ancient Gardener

Place in a garden corner for maximum coverage.

• Function: The gardener will dig, plant, water and harvest a 4×4 square of garden (excluding the 1 corner spot where it sits).
• Coverage: 15 garden plants
• Resources to Build:
  • Ancient Core (Level 1) – 2
  • Mist – 2000
  • Ancient Gear – 3
  • Ancient Pipe – 3
• Cost to Run:
  • Digging: 10 Mist (per spot dug)
  • Planting: 10 Mist (per seed)
  • Watering: included as part of planting.
  • Harvesting: 10 Mist (per plant)

Basic Ancient Cooker

The Basic Ancient Cooker does not cook instantly. It takes some time, so set it up and return later. However, you can claim finished meals while the rest are cooking.

• Function: Allows you to cook up to 10 meals of the same item, with same ingredients, at one time.
• Resources to Build:
  • Ancient Core (Level 1) – 2
  • Mist – 2000
  • Ancient Radiator – 3
  • Ancient Plate – 3
• Cost to Run: 25 Mist (per meal) and 1 piece of coal ore (automatically taken and used from your Inventory)

Quest Task: Build any Ancient Machine at a Timebending Table.

• Search for the right parts using your Hourglass!

Pro Tip: If your coal ore Inventory runs low, the Ancient Cooker will limit the number of meals you can make to the amount of coal remaining.

Take your new gadget to the Glittering Dunes and watch it perform. Your new Ancient Machine is going to save you a lot of time and this is only the basic model!
