Kristoff Listens to his Customers
New Updates at Kistoff’s Stall!
Kristoff (or more likely the Gameloft development team) has worked hard to balance players’ access to resources. It has not always been a smooth process and Update 2 did not go over well, resulting in severe restrictions on daily purchase maximums on much-needed resources. The chief complaint was the limitation on coal, but several other necessary resources were also severely limited, which resulted in hours and hours of mindless mining.
However, Kristoff (Gameloft) has been excellent, for the most part, at listening to players, and in this case, our wish was their pleasure to provide.
Update 3 came on February 7, 2023, with extended purchase maximums and UNLIMITED DAILY COAL! The resounding cheer throughout the Disney Dreamlight Valley online communities could be seen and heard across the globe!
Kristoff’s Stall – Fully Leveled
Kristoff’s Stall is unlocked as part of one of his friendship quests. When it first opens, players can purchase up to three items with in-game currency, Star Coins. The stall refreshes once daily with new items. There is always coal for sale, though the other two items available are random.
In yet another of Kristoff’s quests, he decides to add to the Stall’s offerings. The selection then expands to six daily items. Coal remains a staple and is always for sale. The other five items are, again, random. Yet the list of items that show up is relatively small. So, if an item you need isn’t there today, it will likely be there in the next day or two.
Location: Players place the stall in the Valley at a location of their choice.

Unlocking Kristoff’s Stall
Kristoff is found in the Forest of Vallor at the beginning of the game. Unlock this Biome with Dreamlight and you will find him near a portal. Talk to him to start his storylines.
Kristoff’s Stall unlocks as part of his level 6 friendship quest, Village Project: A Mountain Man’s Stall. At this point, 3 items, including the precious coal are for sale.
When Kristoff reaches friendship level 10, you’ll be able to start his quest, A Broken Sled. Complete this quest and Kristoff will add the remaining 3 items to his selection and your life has just become much easier.
