When the Forgetting began, Eric told Ariel that he needed to consult someone who might be able to help protect them from it. That’s the last time Ariel remembers seeing him.

It’s a starting point and a few people immediately come to mind. Maybe one of them knows something about the missing prince.

Kristoff has some fuzzy memories of helping someone with his expeditions. It could be the missing prince you’re looking for.

He’s helping Donald at the moment, so sends you to his house to look for his Expedition Records. It’s possible he wrote something in them about Eric’s whereabouts.

Quest Task: Search Kristoff’s House for the Expedition Records.

You found the expedition records, but the information inside is not good.

According to Kristoff’s records, Eric’s ship sank near Skull Rock Island on his last expedition. It’s always possible that Prince Eric swam safely to shore, but…

Quest Task: Bring the Expedition Records to Kristoff.

At Kristoff’s suggestion, head to Skull Rock on Dazzle Beach. You may be able to find some clues or fish up something from the sunken ship that will help.

It turns out that there is indeed something in the water off Skull Rock Island.

Your Royal Fishing Rod snags it and pulls it out of the water. It’s a piece of a statue. Ariel is sure to recognize the face.

When Ariel sees the statue piece of Eric’s face, she asks you to reconstruct the whole statue. This may be just the thing to help other Villagers remember Eric. Once they remember him, someone is bound to have more information on where he is.

Quest Task: Bring what you’ve found to Ariel.

Check with Kristoff to see if any other pieces of the statue washed up on shore.

Just as Ariel suspected, when Kristoff sees Eric’s face in stone, he starts to remember more.

Eric did make it to shore after the ship sank!

Eric, Donald and Kristoff scoured Dazzle Beach after the shipwreck for anything they could salvage. During the process, they did find the other pieces of the statue as well. Kristoff kept one piece and Donald took the others.

Kristoff offers you his statue piece. It’s somewhere in his house. Go ahead and get it.

Donald vaguely remembers gathering the pieces of the statue.

He recalls giving some of the pieces to Scrooge McDuck. Then he buried what he had left, possibly in the Glade of Trust…to protect it from The Forgetting. You’re welcome to go dig them up.

Scrooge, however, isn’t so free with his potion of Eric’s statue.

But, in true businessman fashion, he’s willing to make a trade. You can have Eric’s statue pieces for some Peridot.

There may already be enough Peridot in your storage chest inventory to make the trade. But if not, you can mine for Peridot in the following locations:

• In Dreamlight Valley: Dazzle Beach or Peaceful Meadow
• On Eternity Isle: The Grasslands or The Promenade

Quest Task: Find 5 Peridot for Scrooge – 5.

You still need to find Donald’s piece of the statue. Head to the Glade of Trust and take a look around.

You’ll find the statue piece have buried in the ground close to one of the stone bridges that cross over to the west side of the glade.

Quest Task: Tell Ariel you’ve gathered all the pieces of the statue.

While you were hunting for statue pieces, Ariel obtained some superglue from Goofy. Take all the pieces to your favorite crafting station and get to work repairing the statue.

The crafting recipe for the Prince Eric Statue is found under Furniture.

Quest Task: Fix the broken statue at a Crafting Station.

Place the repaired Statue of Prince Eric near the big staircase on Dazzle Beach. There all the Villagers will see it.

As soon as you put the statue in place, a memory appears. It’s of Eric and Ursula. Oh no, this can’t be good.

It appears that Ursula might be the one Villager in Dreamlight Valley who knows what happened to Eric.

However, Ursula doesn’t share information with just anyone. You will need to earn her trust, and friendship, if you want to solve the mystery of the missing prince.
