Ursula wants you to make an enchanted potion for her. It will require a special seashell from Moana and a couple other items.

Getting the seashell is your first task. Coincidentally, Moana just found a neat seashell on the beach and hands it over. But she also gives you a warning.

You’re dealing with the Sea Witch. Be Careful!

Quest Task: Get a Seashell from Moana.

There are a few other materials you’ll need if you want to make the enchantment for the ritual. Here is where you can find them.

Aquamarine: Mine in Dazzle Beach or Forest of Valor

Squid:

• Locs: Glade of Trust or Forgotten Lands (Dreamlight Valley)
• Fishing Circle Color: Blue

Empty Vial:

• Crafted from Glass at a standard crafting station.
• Recipe is found under Refined Material

Quest Task: Gather the following items for Ursula’s spell:

• Aquamarine – 5
• Squid – 6
• Empty Vial – 1

ProTip: If the crafting recipe for the Empty Vial isn’t there, make some Glass. For many recipes to appear, you need to first make or collect at least one of each item in its’ recipe. In this case, that’s glass, which is crafted from coal ore and sand.

If you aren’t already there, head to a nearby crafting station to make the Enchantment Potion for Ursula.

Deliver the Enchantment Potion to Ursula. She uses it and some of her own magic on the Corrupted Flower.

Everything is ready for the final phase of the ritual. Ursula hands you the enchanted flower and asks you to place it near the Mystical Cave on Dazzle Beach.

The Flower now has the power to… let’s go with interact… with the magic in the cave. Hmm.

When you plant the flower in the spot Ursula indicated, it turns into a Night Thorn.

Okay, that’s not what you expected.

Quest Task: Place the Enchanted Flower near the entrance to the Mystical Cave on the Beach.

ProTip: You’ll find the Enchanted Flower in the “Furniture” tab, not in your Inventory.

It turns out that a Night Thorn is not what Ursula expected either. She was trying to harness the power of the cave, but the power of the Valley far surpasses the dark magic that was in the flower.

Good thing too, at least for Dreamlight Valley!
