Crafting Balloon Arches

Balloons are an extremely popular choice when decorating for the many festivals and parties in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Much of the balloon decor can be crafted. The Balloon Arches, in particular, are a very cheerful addition to any Festival and come in a wide range of colors to match your theme. Here is a list of all your choices and the recipes needed to craft the Balloon Arches.

Balloon Arches

Balloon decor adds a colorful and cheerful atmosphere to the Valley. There are a good number of different items to choose from. The Balloon Clusters are a sort of standing balloon bouquet, and the Balloon Arches are high enough to walk through!

We are going to focus on the Balloon Arches that you can craft yourself and here is the list.

  • Blue and Silver Balloon Arch
  • White, Yellow and Black Balloon Arch
  • Blue, Yellow and Pink Balloon Arch
  • Yellow, Red and Black Balloon Arch
  • Green, Yellow and White Balloon Arch

Missing Recipes

It’s important to note that not all crafting recipes appear at your crafting station at the start of the game or a new adventure. Many only appear after you acquire at least one of each of the resources used in the recipe. As soon as you do, the recipe is automatically added.

Also, you don’t need to have all of the recipe resources in your inventory at the same time, to get the recipe. You only need to have obtained each of the items at least once along the way.

Finding Resources – Flowers

Flowers bring color to the Valley, and they also provide the colors for your Balloon Arches.

As you can see, you’ll need quite a few flowers for your crafting project. Luckily there are a lot to be found and they grow back fairly quickly.

For your convenience, here is a quick reference for finding all the different flowers you will need.

  • Bromeliad – Sunlit Plateau
  • Dandelion – Plaza
  • Daisy – Peaceful Meadow
  • Falling Penstemon – Plaza

Finding Resources – Iron Ingot

All the Balloon Arch recipes use Iron Ingot. This basic commodity is also crafted. The most common Iron Ingot recipe uses iron ore, which can be obtained by mining in Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor and Frosted Heights. Coal ore is a random drop when mining pretty much anywhere or can be purchased at Kristoff’s Stall for 5 Star Coins.

A Standard Crafting Station is used to make Iron Ingot. You can find the recipe under Refined Material.

Iron Ingot Recipe:

  • Iron Ore – 5
  • Coal Ore – 1
