You have arrived in the Mulan Realm and become a new recruit. It appears that Mulan will be your primary Trainer. While she’s enjoying breakfast, she gives you your first assignment…help Mushu.

As first assignments go, this one is a big one!

Quest Task: Talk to Mushu.

Mushu needs help building a defense system for all of China!

After a bit of deliberation, the two of you decide to build a Dragon Army! That is sure to scare any invaders away.

And yes, you are going to Build them. It will be an Army of Dragon Statues, constructed to look very much like a certain fierce guardian. All you need are some supplies from the area and a picture of the perfect dragon model, Mushu!

Quest Task: Search for materials for Mushu’s Dragon Statues:

• Camp Mud: 50
• Buckets of Water – 3
• Firewood – 10
• Red Spider Lilies – 10
• Chrysanthemums – 5
• Dream Shards from Dreamlight Valley – 10

Quest Task: Take a picture of Mushu.

Pro Tip: You do not need to go back to Dreamlight Valley to get the Dream Shards, as long as you have some in your inventory or storage chest there. The Dream Shards will be accessible at the crafting station when you are ready for them.

With all the materials gathered, head to the crafting station in the camp. It’s located under a tree across from the rows of bricks that look like benches.

The dragons you are crafting are made of clay. They will need to be fired in a kiln to turn the pliable clay into hard, strong statues.

Quest Task: Craft the Unfired Dragon Statues – 20

Quest Task: Return to Mushu.

Once you have crafted the dragon statues, take them to the kiln, which is found directly behind the crafting station, along the camp wall. There are long benches next to the kiln, which can be used for the finished statues.

Interact with the kiln to get the process started. Firing ceramics takes time, if you want it done right. So, once the kiln is loaded with the Unfired Dragon Statues, head back to Mushu and see what is next on the agenda.

Quest Task: Interact with the kiln to place the Unified Dragon Statues and the Firewood.

Quest Task: Talk to Mushu.

This is a good time to continue your training with Mulan.

Talking to Mulan will trigger the start of 4 new quests, in rapid succession. You’ll need to complete all of them before Mushu will be ready for you to finish up here.

They are:

• A Defender’s Training – Mulan Quest
  • Fishing for Precision – Mulan Sub-Quest
  • Brick-Breaking – Mulan Sub-Quest
  • Orienteering – Mulan Sub-Quest

Quest Task: Complete Mulan’s training.

Quest Task: Wait for the four batches of Dragon Statues to be fired.

Once your training is complete, it’s time to return to Mushu and gather up the Dragon Army. The Army is waiting on the shelfs and is quite a formidable sight.

But, before you can do much more than admire them, the ground shakes and debris rains down… What’s Happening?!
