Mulan wants to bring the Shadow Play from her childhood to Dreamlight Valley. She is confident that, with a little help from you and Minnie, she can bring it to life.

Mulan is going to work on the script while you check with Minnie about making the puppets and gathering some of the supplies to build the Shadow Theater.

Most of the supplies Mulan needs to build the Shadow Theater are probably found in your supply chests. But, if you’re short on a few items, here is where to find them.

Head to a crafting station to craft Tinkering Parts and Rope.

• Rope is crafted from fiber. It takes 8 Fiber to make a single robe.
• Iron Ingot is needed for the Tinkering Parts, but one iron ingot gets you 5 Tinkering Parts! Not bad.

Softwood is found on the ground around trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust. Hardwood is also found on the ground, in the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau. Both can be obtained by digging up tree stumps, small or large, in the Forest of Valor.

Once you’ve collected everything you need and put them in your backpack, take them to Mulan. She is going to try her hand at building the theater for the Shadow Play.

Mushu is working on the lighting for the Shadow Theater. Unfortunately, whatever he tries is not staying lit and he’s trying to remember what they used in the past. They used to perform Shadow Plays before The Forgetting.

He seems to recall it was something magical…hmm.

Merlin is sure to be able to help!

Merlin to the rescue…again! The plays of the past were lit by a Draconic Garnet.

If you can replicate it, and Merlin is sure you can, Mushu can breath fire into it and it will stay lit throughout the performance!

Quest Task: Gather the following for the Empty Draconic Garnet:

• Shiny Garnet
• Dream Shards – 4
• Coal – 12

Take the Empty Draconic Garnet to Mushu. There is nothing better than having your very own fire-breathing Dragon when you need a little light!

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Empty Draconic Garnet in your Inventory.

Quest Task: Bring the Empty Draconic Garnet to Mulan.

Everything is ready. The Shadow Play looks it’s best after dark, so all you need to do is wait until evening.

Once the sun goes down, place the Shadow Theater in the Valley and gather around.

The play was all about Mushu and Mulan’s adventures when they left the Valley to try to help find a solution to The Forgetting. It was great fun to see it performed.
