Before The Forgetting, Dreamlight Valley had a Village Newspaper called the Dreamlight Gazette. The main journalist for the Newspaper, was and I’m sure it will come as no surprise, Daisy!

Daisy’s favorite column in the Dreamlight Gazette was her advice column, Ask Daisy. She really wants to bring it back!

To kick things off, Daisy needs an Advice Box, so Villagers can submit their questions.

It isn’t going to take much to build Daisy’s Advice Box. Most of the items you need are likely already in your storage chests.

But, if you find yourself a little short of something, here is where you can find it.

Hardwood

• On the ground, usually near trees in these locations:
  • Forest of Valor
  • Glade of Trust
  • Sulit Plateau
  • Frosted Heights
• Random drop when digging up tree stumps in the Forest of Valor.

Iron Ingot – Crafted from Iron Ore

• Iron Ore, in turn, is found by mining in any of the Dreamlight Valley Biomes except the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach.

Amethyst – Mining Locations:

• Forgotten Lands
• Frosted Heights

Quest Task: Gather the materials for the Advice Box

• Hardwood – 15
• Iron Ingots – 3
• Amethyst – 5

To get the Ask Daisy column off the ground, head to a nearby crafting station and build an Advice Box. The crafting recipe can be found under Functional Items.

Quest Task: Craft the Advice Box.

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Advice Box in your Inventory – 1.

Daisy is excited about getting her new Advice Box. She is going to set it up near her house. Hopefully the Villagers will enjoy using it as much as she enjoys writing the Ask Daisy column!

Minnie is also working on a column for the Dreamlight Gazette as well. Her column is about the efforts that were made against the Forgetting. To support her column, she would like some photos.

Your Royal Camera is going to make quick work of getting the photos she needs.

Quest Task: Talk to Minnie.

Quest Task: Take pictures for Minnie of:

• The Giant Willow Tree in the Glade
• The Pillar of Friendship
• Any Statue in the Mystical Cave

After delivering the photos to Minnie so she can complete her column, head to Daisy’s house and check the Advice Box.

There are two letters in the Ask Daisy Advice Box that are going to need a little work. Daisy asks for your assistance.

Quest Task: Pick up the “Ask Daisy” Letters from the ground.

Quest Task: Help Daisy fulfill these Villagers’ requests.

• Vanellope
• Kristoff

Pro Tip: Gathering the letters from the Advice Box and talking to Daisy will trigger the start of Vanellope and Kristoff quests. They are Kristoff: A Romantic in the Making and Vanellope: The Next Level. You will not be able to continue with this quest until Kristoff and Vanellope’s Quest are finished.

Now that you’ve finished helping with Kristoff and Vanellope’s Ask Daisy requests, head back to the Advice Box. There may be more letters inside.

The latest letter in the Advice Box is from Mother Gothel. She’s not asking for advice, but rather challenging Daisy about her ability to give advice.

Mother Gothel is always a bit difficult. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that she’s giving Daisy a hard time.

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Extra “Ask Daisy” Letter in your Inventory.

Quest Task: Bring the Extra “Ask Daisy” Letter to Daisy.

Daisy has a plan. It’s her opinion that Mother Gothel’s unsolicited comments stem from not having a place where she can relax and appreciate life in the Valley.

So, Daisy is on a mission to make the Glade a happier place to live. Of course, she’ll need some of your expert decorating help!

Quest Task: Make the Glade of Trust more relaxing by adding:

• Outdoor Seating – 1
• Any Outdoor Table – 1
• Casual Decor – 3

Quest Task: Talk to Mother Gothel.

Although Mother Gothel is not, exactly, going to admit that the updates you made to the Glade of Trust are to her liking, she does seem to be in a little better spirit once you’re done. That is definitely progress and Daisy is pleased with the results of her plan!

Plus, the new and improved Dreamlight Gazette is almost ready. Daisy is sure it will be a big hit!
