It’s time for Jafar to start his community service. You are going to start with Remy’s suggestion and, as you can guess, it’s all about food!

Quest Task: Wait 1 hour for Jafar to reflect on his sentence.

Jafar gets to pick the food that you are going to make. You want them to be meals he enjoys.

This seems to surprise and please him. Since the meals Jafar selects are from his time in Agrabah, he even supplies the recipes.

Quest Task: Guide Jafar to goodness by cooking some tasty meals:

• Falafel
• Makrout
• Shish Taouk

There are a lot of ingredients needed for Jafar’s food selections. If you don’t have everything in your storage chests, start gathering. You may need to return to Dreamlight Valley for some of them.

Lemon – grows wild in Dreamlight Valley’s Glade of Trust or Forest of Valor

Oregano – grows wild in the Plaza

Cumin – grows wild in Ancient’s Landing (Eternity Isle)

Agave – grows wild in Glittering Dunes (Eternity Isle)

Garlic – grow wild in Forest of Valor (Dreamlight Valley), The Lagoon and The Grove (Eternity Isle)

Poultry – sold at Gaston’s Stall in The Wastes.

Canola – randomly sold at Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor for 164 Star Coins.

Head to a nearby cooking station and start cooking.

The recipes should show up in the Quest menu, but otherwise you can find Falafel under Appetizers, Makrout under Desserts and Shish Taouk under Entrees.

Serve Jafar the completed meals and see his reaction.

Jafar has not only been unkind to the Villager of Eternity Isle, but he has also been unkind to the critter. So, the next task in Jafar’s community service is to feed the animals of Eternity Isle. Food is always a great way of making amends to the critters!

While you may have not expected this, Jafar is very familiar with the critter’s favorite foods. He even gives you the food for each animal from his own stock. This is obviously something he’s done before. Hmm.

Jafar’s community service is complete. Talk to the Villagers to see if they are seeing any changes in Jafar’s behavior.

The Trial and community service seems to have helped. Everyone reports that Jafar has been trying to make amends.

To show Jafar that you appreciate his efforts in making amends to the Villagers, you decide to hold a celebration.

Decorate the area near the Palace to Jafar’s tastes. Merlin has even provided a statue of Lago for the occasion.

Quest Task: Place the Homage to Lago when you’re ready.

Jafar is not sure how to react to the celebration. He is definitely not used to such things. Still, it seems like he is turning over a new leaf. Maybe. Hopefully.
