Getting Crafting Recipes

When you arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley, your crafting station has a very limited selection of recipes. As you collect resources, you’ll occasionally see notifications on the right side of your screen, that crafting recipes have been added.

Some of the crafting recipes are only added when you have collected at least one of everything that is needed in the recipe. You don’t need to collect them all at once or even keep them in your inventory. As long as you’ve picked up everything in the recipe one time, the recipe will appear.

So, gathering resources around the Biomes at the beginning of the game is a great way to start building your inventory of crafting recipes.

There is a slight twist to this, however. Some of the crafting recipes require items that are also crafted. This is the key to many of the holiday decorations!!

It All Starts with Fabric

To craft a Christmas Tree, it all starts with Fabric!

Why, you ask? Because I collected all sorts of other resources and still didn’t have the Christmas Tree (Tree of Holiday Cheer) or any of the other holiday decor crafting recipes. But as soon as I crafted some Fabric, lots of recipes started populating in my crafting station. Fabric was the missing resource for me.

So, if you still need some holiday decor crafting recipes, head to your favorite crafting station and make some Fabric. See what happens!
