Fishing for Festive Fish is always fun! They appear exclusively during Disney Dreamlight Valley’s December Special Holiday Event, which in 2024 is called The Gift of Giving.

As in the past, there are 5 different Festive Fish swimming around Dreamlight Valley.

• Festive Anglerfish – Forgotten Lands
• Festive Bass – Peaceful Meadow
• Festive Fugu – Dazzle Beach
• Festive Salmon – Sunlit Plateau
• Festive Squid – Glade of Trust

To find Festive Fish, watch for the equally as festive red and green fishing circles.

But be warned, once you catch one, it does not come back until next year. So, if you’d like two in your inventory, grab a fishing buddy before you attempt to snag one of these Festive Fish.

Having problems spotting the red and green fishing spots on Dazzle Beach. It may be you just aren’t fishing in the right weather.

Fugu are notorious for only coming to the surface during rainstorms. The Festive Fugu is no exception. Wait for the rain and head for the bridge connecting both sections of Dazzle Beach!
