Miracle Shovel Varnish is crafted at a standard crafting station. The recipe is found under Potion & Enchantment.

When you apply this Miracle Potion to your Royal Shovel (by using it from your backpack Inventory), it will temporarily have you digging up more resources with each shovel stroke. If you also have a Villager that specializes in the Digging Role, you can get even more.

The Miracle Shovel Varnish is enough potion for you to dig 10 holes.

It should be noted, however, that while the potion speeds up natural resource collection when digging up untouched ground, it does not have any effect when you use your Royal Shovel for other things, like removing Bones Clusters. It also doesn’t seem to increase the amount of Dreamlight you get when digging in cracked earth spots.

Sad, but true.

• 500 Dreamlight

There is also a stronger version of this Miracle Potion for you to try. The Even More Miraculous Shovel Varnish lasts much longer. You can dig 25 holes with it before your Royal Shovel stops glowing and goes back to normal.

If you need a lot of resources, using the Even More Miraculous Shovel Varnish is likely your best option. It takes double the amount of resources to make it, but you get a bonus of 5 extra digs out of this single potion.
