Buzz loves the idea of creating a Star Command in Dreamlight Valley. He can uncover mysteries, patrol the perimeter, and help keep peace. It’s going to be great.

But first, you need to have transportation. As a Space Ranger Recruit, Buzz gives you the task of getting the materials to craft something that will wor.

For anything that isn’t already stored in one of your storage chests, here is where to find it.

Glass – Crafted from Sand and Coal Ore

Hardwood

• Dreamlight Valley: Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Frosted Height
• Dig up Tree Stumps

Iron Ingot – Crafted from Iron Ore and Coal Ore

Quest Task: Gather materials for the Space Ranger ship:

• Glass- 3
• Hardwood – 10
• Iron Ingot – 5

Head to a nearby crafting station to build the Space Ranger Ship. The crafting recipe is found under Furniture.

Quest Task: Craft the Space Ranger Ship.

Take the Space Ranger Ship to Buzz’s RV and find a good spot nearby to place it.

Your fist Space Ranger Recruit task is complete, so check in with Buzz.

Quest Task: Place the Space Ranger Ship near Buzz’s RV.

Quest Task: Return to Buzz.

Buzz is very pleased with the Space Ranger Ship, but there is still one crucial thing missing. As a Space Ranger Recruit, you need a uniform. It looks like you are going shopping!

Head to Scrooge’s Store.

Scrooge doesn’t have a Space Ranger Uniform in stock, but he’s willing to make you one. In fact, he’ll trade you for it. You just need to bring him some supplies and a Topaz for his services.

Quest Task: Talk to Scrooge McDuck.

One of the items Scrooge needs is some blue dye. Luckily, he provided the crafting recipe and a list of materials.

The materials are fairly easy to obtain if you don’t already have them.

Blue Falling Penstemons – Grow wild in the Plaza

Coal – Mine anywhere or purchase at Kristoff’s Stall for 5 Star Coins

Blueberry – Grow wild in Dazzle Beach or Forest of Valor

Empty Vial – Crafted from Glass

Quest Task: Gather the Ingredients for the Navy Blue Dye.

• Blue Falling Penstemons – 3
• Coal – 10
• Blueberries – 15
• Empty Vial – 1

Go back to your crafting station and make some Navy Blue Dye. The crafting recipe is found under Functional Items.

Quest Task: Craft some Navy Blue Dye.

Gather the remaining items that Scrooge requested, either from your Storage Chest inventory or the following locations.

Fiber – Crafted from cotton

Softwood

• Dreamlight Valley: Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor
• Eternity Isle: Ancient’s Landing
• Dig up Tree Stumps

Topaz – Mine in these locations

• Plaza (Dreamlight Valley)
• Docks (Eternity Isle)
• Courtyard (Eternity Isle)
• The Bind (Storybook Vale)

Take everything to Scrooge and make the trade.

Quest Task: Gather what Scrooge McDuck asked for:

• Fiber – 15

• Navy Blue Dye – 1
• Topaz – 1

Quest Task: Bring the materials to Scrooge McDuck.

Put on you new Space Ranger Uniform and report back to Buzz.
