Buzz is taking the true definition of a hero to heart. He needs to take care of everyone in the Valley and stop seeing evil in Villagers just because they are “villians”.

That means, he owes Ursula an apology!

Now that Buzz has settled things with Ursula, he would like to start up a Star Command Academy. That way he can train others to help protect the Valley.

So, that means, he is going to need some Space Ranger Badges. They are easy enough to craft. You just need to get the materials. Everything you need can be made at your crafting station.

Quest Task: Gather the materials for the Space Range Badges.

• Iron Ingot – 3
• Fabric – 3
• Craft some Blue Ink – 3

Once you’ve made all the materials, bring up the crafting recipe for the Space Ranger Badges. You’ll find it under Functional Items.

Meet with Buzz to discuss which Villagers to recruit for the Star Command Academy. Buzz is really starting to understand the definition of hero. Scar is on his list of Star Command Academy recruits.

Take the Space Ranger Badges to Remy, Moana, and Scar. It only takes a little convincing to get them to join the Star Command.

Help Buzz plan for the Star Command Academy grand opening.

Gather materials to make some Asphalt and a Blue and Silver Balloon Arch.

• Craft Iron Ingot
• Pick Blue Falling Penstemon in the Plaza, Blue Star Lily in Forest of Valor and Blue Marsh Milkweed in Glade of Trust.
• Dig up some Sand in Dazzle Beach and Pebbles in the Sunlit Plateau for the Asphalt. You will also need to mine for some Coal Ore. It’s a random drop at any of the Dreamlight Valley mining spots or you can buy some from Kristoff’s Stall for 5 Star Coins each.

Quest Task: Gather or craft what’s needed for the Star Rangers Academy Grand Opening:

• Asphalt – 20
• Blue and Silver Balloon Arch – 1

ProTip: Use Miracle Shovel Varnish to dig up more items with each Shovel Stroke. Taking along a Villager with a digging role will increase that even more.

With all the materials gathered, return to a crafting station. The Asphalt crafting recipe is found under Fence and Paving. The Blue and Silver Balloon Arch crafting recipe is found under Furniture.

Quest Task: Gather or craft what’s needed for the Star Rangers Academy Grand Opening:

• Asphalt – 20
• Blue and Silver Balloon Arch – 1

Take the crafted items to Buzz’s RV and put them in place.

Quest Task: Place everything for the Grand Opening around Buzz’s RV:

Quest Task: Return to Buzz.

All that is left to do is put on your uniform and setup the Buffet.

Quest Task: Place the Space Ranger Buffet near Buzz’s RV.

ProTip: This optional task must be done before you place the Buffet. Placing the Buffet triggers the party cutscene.

As soon as the Buffet is set in place, the Grand Opening party begins. Everyone gathers around the Buffet table. Typical! But that makes it a perfect time to get a great picture of the whole group.

The Star Command Academy is off to a good start. It’s the great way to start showing the Valley that the definition of a hero is so much more than just fighting bad guys.
