No responsibilities may sound great to some, but Beast is looking for something to do. He’s feeling a bit lost in the Village.

Perhaps, Beast just needs a hobby, or something meaningful to do. Belle has been talking about some new books, but that requires going to Merlin’s library. Merlin (aka Wizard, Enchanter). Nope, Beast is steering clear.

But Belle really would like some books. Beast asks you for help. Time for you to do a good deed.

After gathering the books from Merlin’s library, you bring them to Belle.

Errand accomplished, you and Belle ponder the best way to bring Beast out of his..shell? Hmm doesn’t quite paint the right image.

Quest Task: Bring the books to Belle on Beast’s behalf.

After a little brainstorming with Belle on who would make a good friend for Beast, you settle on 2 of the friendlier Villagers. Best have a quick chat with them to ensure they’re prepared for a meeting with Beast.

Quest Task: Ask these Villagers about meeting with Beast:

• Mirabel
• WALL-E

Just a little scared, ok terrified, Beast asks you to choose who to meet first. One person per day is his limit.

WALL-E it is.

Quest Task: Return to Beast.

Pro Tip: If you talk to WALL-E first, you will not be triggered to talk to Mirabel.

To help pave the way for Beast’s meeting with WALL-E and provide something in common for them to talk about, you proceed to show Beast the fine points of gardening in Dreamlight Valley.

Quest Task: Hang out with Beast to make sure a catastrophe doesn’t happen.

It occurs to you that Kristoff’s personality may be a better fit for a friend for Beast. They are both rather quiet.

Kristoff is in the process of organizing a fishing contest. This might be just the thing to build a friendship over.

• Fish of 3 lbs or more – 1
• A Herring – 1
• A Bream – 1
