You’ve entered a huge cave. Directly in front of you is a large Pirate Ship. How Cool is that!

As you glance around, something moving catches your eye. There are shadows on the wall that seem to have a life of their own. Or maybe it was just one shadow.

Investigate the area. There must be a clue somewhere that will explain what is going on?

Quest Task: Investigate Skull Rock for more clues.

Quest Task: Talk to Echo (The Forgotten).

Hmm, there are a few Pixie Dust Orbs flying around the area. They seem to be casting shadows on the wall, but that’s not what you saw when you first entered. At least that’s not all that you saw.

Continue looking around the inside of Skull Rock. A broken lantern is buried in the sands. Hmm. perhaps this can be used to catch the Pixie Dust Orbs. They are sure to come in handy.

There are two more Broken Lanterns floating in the water near the dock leading to the Pirate Ship. Pull out your Royal Fishing Rod and fish them out.

The Pixie Dust Orbs flew out the mouth of Skull Rock. Head into the Village and track them down. You’ll want to look in the Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor and Forgotten Lands.

Pro Tip: Run up to the Pixie Dust Orbs and click “A” (switch) to pick them up. No Royal Tool is needed for this.

You have the Pixie Dust Orbs and the Broken Lanterns. Now all you need to do is use your crafting station to make the repairs.

But first, gather any remaining items you need. Here is where to find them.

Gold Ingot – Crafted from Gold Nuggets and Iron Ore

Glass – Crafted from Sand

Vitalys Crystals – Mine inside the Vitalys Mines, which are located at the mouth of the river in the Sunlit Plateau.

Quest Task: Gather resources to repair the Broken Lanterns.

• Glass – 9
• Vitalys Crystal – 9

Use your favorite crafting station to repair the Broken Lanterns and turn them into working Pixie Dust Lanterns. The crafting recipe can be found under Functional Items.

Place the Pixie Dust Lanterns on top of the three Rope Winches. Interact with the Rope Winches to direct the light toward a wall.

Quest Task: Look for the strange shadow using the Pixie Dust Lanterns.

As the light hits the wall, a moving Shadow flies by. Ah, this is progress.

Point all three lanterns in the same direction, so that they light up the side wall. As soon as the lights merge, the Shadow of a person appears. The combination of the three magical lights has trapped the Shadow in one place!

Quest Task: The Shadow appeared for a second!

• Trap the Shadow in one place using all three Pixie Dust Lanterns together!

Although it probably comes as no surprise, the Shadow on the wall can’t talk. But it is able to communicate that it wants you to follow it.

Turn one of the Rope Winches so that the light points to the closed gate on the opposite wall. When light shines on a Rope Winch attached to the wall, the Shadow flies to it and waits. Follow it.

Quest Task: Try communicating with the Shadow.

Quest Task: Shine a lantern on the gate to let the Shadow lead the way.

Directly to the right of the wall with the Rope Winch is a pile of Rocks. Perched on the rocks are a trio of Jade Skulls. They’re talking Jade Skulls!

The leader of the Jade Skulls presents you with Three Riddles. Solve the Riddles and the path forward will open.

Riddle 1: I’m used to explore the waters and shores, a swaying home atop the sea-foam. What am I?

Answer: A Pirate Ship

Riddle 2: I’m a winged creature, small and bright, with magic dust to grant you flight. Don’t be fooled; I’ve courage twice my size. Dare to doubt; that’s just unwise. What am I?

Answer: A pixie

Riddle 3: I’m an instrument of wind, and for him I’ll always play, as he laughs and grins to lead the way. What am I?

Answer: A pan flute

When the Jade Skulls confirm that you have answered all of their riddles correctly, the Rope Winch wheel on the wall pushes out of the wall. It can now be turned to open the hatch that leads further into Skull Rock. What will you find within? You’ll just need to wait and see.
