The Dreamlight Grove

Simba is remembering more about his past in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There used to be more than one Dreamlight Tree in the Valley. In fact, there was more of a Dreamlight Grove. All the trees connected through their roots! But where are the others? You just might have the answer.

Dreamlight Trees of the Past

Simba wants to find a way to bring the Dreamlight Grove back to the Valley.

It’s great to have one Dreamlight Tree, but if he can restore the whole Dreamlight Grove, the creatures in the other Biomes will also be able to enjoy the protection of the Dreamlight Trees.

Simba is hopeful. You were able to obtain seeds from the slumbering Dreamlight Fruit in your lab. Those seeds grew into the current Dreamlight Tree. Perhaps the fresh Dreamlight Fruit from the new tree can help grow more trees. He wants to examine one but is not having any luck picking the fruit. He keeps squishing it with his big paws.

Quest Task: Harvest some Dreamlight Fruit for Simba.

Pro Tip: Dreamlight Fruit will regenerate 24 hours after it is picked. For example: if you harvest the fruit at 10:25 am on Monday, it will not regenerate again until Tuesday at 10:25 am.

Gathering More Info

More memories are returning to Simba, but he still doesn’t remember how to bring back the Dreamlight Grove.

He does remember that you and Remy used to cook with the Dreamlight Fruit. Also, that Mother Gothel liked to pick the Dreamlight Fruit.

Now that’s interesting. Talk to Mother Gothel and see if she can fill in any of the blanks in Simba’s memory.

Growth Aid

Mother Gothel just happens to have an old book that contains the notes of your experiments with the Dreamlight Fruit from before The Forgetting. What she learned from it was that only someone with Dreamlight Magic, in other words you, can bring back the Dreamlight Trees.

But there is more, you’ll need to make some Dreamlight Tree Fertilizer if you are to be successful. Luckily for you, Mother Gothel remembers just what is needed to make this important concoction!

If you don’t have all the materials already in one of your storage chests, here is where you’ll find what you need.

Vitalys Crystals – Mine in the Vitalys Mines – Sunlit Plateau

Purified Night Shards – Crafted from Night Shards and Dream Shards

Dreamlight Fruit – Harvested from the Dreamlight Tree – Sunlit Plateau

Empty Vial – Crafted from glass

Sunlit Plateau Water – Found near the bridge in the Sunlit Plateau

Quest Task: Gather the following materials:

  • Vitalys Crystals – 5
  • Purified Night Shards – 2
  • Sunlit Plateau Water – 1 (Quest item)
  • Dreamlight Fruit – 3
  • Empty Vial

Crafting Tree Fertilizer

Find a nearby crafting station and whip up a batch of Dreamlight Tree Fertilizer.

You’ll find the crafting recipe under Potion & Enchantment.

Once you’ve completed it, use the Dreamlight Tree Fertilizer in your Inventory. Your Royal Watering Can will be temporarily upgraded with the new Fertilizer.

Fertilizing Flowers

To grow additional Dreamlight Trees in other parts of the Valley, you need to water flowers in those areas using your Royal Watering Can, which now contains the new Fertilizer you just made.

Quest Task: Return to Simba.

Quest Task: Water flowers in the following parts of the Valley:

  • Forgotten Lands – 5
  • Frosted Heights – 5
  • Glade of Trust – 5

Pro Tip: Don’t be too concerned about which flowers you water. The Dreamlight Tree won’t necessarily grow in the exact spots the flowers are. Also, the Dreamlight Tree can be moved after it’s grown. Unfortunately, the Fertilizer only works in the 3 Biomes identified in the Quest.

The Dreamlight Grove Returns

Once you’ve watered flowers in each of the areas, check back with Simba. He leads you back to the original Dreamlight Tree.

By the time you reach the original Dreamlight Tree, Simba can sense that new Dreamlight Trees have grown in Dreamlight Valley. He just has to share the good news with Nala!
