Since your arrival in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ve been working to clear the Night Thorns from the Plaza and collect the various Royal Tools left behind by the former Ruler. As you work, you see that one house in the Plaza appears to still be inhabited. It’s not boarded-up like the rest of the buildings within immediate view.

Clearing a path to the house, your curiosity wins. You just have to take a break from your current tasks and check it out!

Upon entering the house, you come face to face with none other than Mickey Mouse! What a treat! Mickey seems very happy to see you as well.

Night Thorns have also crept into Mickey’s House and are affecting Mickey’s memory in the same way they did Merlin’s. It turns out that Mickey saw you arrive and was about to get you something from his house. But now he can’t remember what it was. What he does know, is that he needs your help!

Hopefully getting rid of the Night Thorns invading Mickey’s House will help his memory, so that’s the first task at hand. In the process, you uncover a few chests containing some helpful goodies. Luckily Mickey’s willing to share.

You also uncover a glowing orb. What could this possibly be?

Quest Task: Remove the Night Thorns in Mickey’s House.

Approach the glowing orb and take a closer look. It a Memory!

With the Night Thorns gone and the Memory as a reminder, Mickey is able to give you some information regarding what you just found.

Quest Task: Investigate the Memory using “A” (Switch Controls).

The memory is about Mickey’s good friend Remy. It appears that before Remy left Dreamlight Valley, he gave Mickey his recipes. Remy hoped Mickey would be able to keep them safe from the Forgetting.

Mickey buried the recipes in various places throughout Dreamlight Valley. It uh, seemed like a good idea at the time!? You’ll need a shovel to dig them up. Good thing there is a Royal Shovel to be had!

Quest Task: Ask Mickey about the Memory.

With Shovel in hand, you’re ready to find the recipe. Mickey suggests using the Memory you found in his house as a clue to where the recipe is buried.

Quest Task: Press “+” to access the Collection menu to look at the Memory (Switch Controls).

The memory sends you to the boarded-up Chez Remy, located in the Northeast section of the Plaza. It doesn’t take long to find a shiny spot to dig up. Make sure you have room in your backpack to pick up the item once you dig it up. (Or see our Pro Tip below.)

To actually obtain the recipe for use, open your backpack, highlight the recipe book and select “use”. This will make the recipe available for cooking in the near future.

• Use the Fruit Salad Recipe in your Backpack,

Pro Tip: If your inventory is full, making it impossible to pick up the recipe, select one of the items in your backpack and click “drop”. This will drop all of that item on the ground for you to return later and retrieve. You will not lose anything by doing this.

Mickey seems a little embarrassed that the first recipe you find is one of Remy’s simple ones. He assures you, however, that anything Remy creates, tastes great.

There are more buried recipes to be found. However, before you continue your search for those, Mickey wants to teach you to cook this one and grow some of your own ingredients.

If you’re going to do some gardening, you should look the part, according to Mickey. He has a brand- new pair of overalls just for you. You just have to try them on!

Mickey heads off toward his garden as this quest comes to a close. When you get hungry for some fruit salad and a new quest, meet Mickey there.
