Low on Power
The Royal Hourglass is in your possession. Jafar is elated. That is, he is, until he realizes that the Hourglass doesn’t have much power. The sands in the Hourglass can lead you to buried treasure anywhere in Disney Dreamlight Valley. That is a very useful skill indeed. However, the Royal Hourglass is not strong enough to fix the broken bridge that blocks your path forward.
Ah, yes! Jafar now recalls who broke the Royal Hourglass and why. That same person is going to have to find the parts and fix it. You.

A Partially Broken Royal Hourglass
The Royal Hourglass that you worked so hard to obtain, does not have enough power to fix the broken bridge blocking your passage. It’s still a very handy tool, though, even in this reduced state.
According to Jafar, you purposely caused the sands in the Hourglass to lose power. When you were younger, you found the power of the Hourglass hard to control. If that power fell into the wrong hands… things could get bad. Very Bad! As a precaution, you removed the three jewels, that amplified it power, from the Royal Hourglass’s handle and hid them.
Jafar calls the missing jewels, the Jewels of Time. He knows where the first Jewel of Time is and points you in that direction. He hasn’t figured out where you hid the other two, however.
Hmm. If he’s been looking for them, it may be a good thing you hid them.

A Broken Statue
Everything seems to be broken! The first Jewel of Time you need is being kept by the Statue of Time, however…Yup, the Statue is broken!
To fix the Statue, you’ll need to find its’ broken pieces. Some are down a passage that is blocked by Swirling Sands. Luckily, your Hourglass is strong enough to remove those!
Quest Task: Reach the Secluded Beach down the passage to the right of the broken bridge.
- Clear away the Swirling Sands by equipping your Hourglass and pressing “Y” near them!

Treasure Hunting
The Royal Hourglass has one other really cool feature, which works even now. It can help find treasure that’s lost in time. The sands in the hourglass will point the way. That is exactly what you need to find the Statue’s broken parts.
Treasure Hunting, here we come!!

2 Down, 3 to Go
Using the Royal Hourglass to guide you, the search begins. It’s just like playing the Hot and Cold kid’s game! The sands in the hourglass changes color, white to yellow to red, as you move in the right direction. There’s even a prize at the end.
Ok, maybe it’s not quite like playing Hot and Cold, but you get the idea.
Before long, two of the Statue’s broken parts are found! But there are still more pieces needed. The search continues.
Quest Task: Equip your Hourglass and search for lost treasures by pressing “Y”.

Materials Lost in Time
Exhausting the ability to find any more buried treasure in Eternity Isle’s Secluded Beach, you branch out. There are other areas you can reach in Ancients Landing. Hopefully you’ll find the remaining parts in one of them.

Statue Building Plans
You have all the missing pieces for the Statue of Time, but there is still a minor problem. How do you repair the pieces? You are getting very, very good at crafting, but this does not appear to be anything your crafting station can handle.
Jafar has been a good source of information so far. Might as well check with him. Perhaps he has some guidance to give.
It does make you wonder, however, if he’d be so forthcoming with information, if he weren’t trapped… but that’s a thought for another day.

A New Crafting Station
Statue Building Plans to the rescue. Jafar just “happened” to have them tucked away somewhere.
These plans are very different from the recipes you use at your Crafting Station. A new kind of crafting table is needed for them. It is called a Timebending Table.
Good thing the plans come with instructions. You probably should actually Read them. Or not.

Timebending Table Crafting
This isn’t so hard. Timebending Table crafting just requires a little power from your Royal Hourglass to work its’ magic. And it looks like the new Timebending Table can even power up the Royal Hourglass, if you can find the right resources.
This has some real possibilities!
But you’re getting ahead of yourself, or rather I am. For now, you need to concentrate on fixing the Statue of Time and that starts by repairing the Statue’s Arms.

Statue Repairs
Now it’s just a matter of putting the arms back on the statue. Replacing them triggers an immediate reaction from the Statue.
The Statue of Time did indeed have one of the missing Jewels!

Channeling Mist
With the Jewel back in place on the Royal Hourglass’s handle, you can feel the power of the Hourglass increase. Perhaps now you can repair the broken bridge and gain entry to the northern part of Eternity Isle.
Or perhaps not quite yet…

Bridge Repair Costs
The Hourglass has the power required to make the Bridge repairs, but there is an unexpected twist. Repairing the Broken Bridge is a pricey investment, but not in Star Coins. It will take 2000 Mist to accomplish it.
In all likelihood, gathering more Mist just became your next priority. There are several ways to accomplish this, but the fastest is to perform Mist Duties. See GamifiedLife’s Guide, Gathering Mist – Eternity Isle Currency, for more information.
Once you have enough Mist to satisfy your needs, repair The Courtyard Bridge. Your path to the rest of Eternity Isle is now open!
Quest Task: Search for Mist with your Hourglass or access the Dreamlight menu and investigate your new Mist Duties by pressing “+”.
