Prince Eric just happens to be residing in Ursula’s Garden. He took up residence there as part of his own deal with Ursula, which he made to save Ariel’s memory from The Forgetting.

Ursula is willing to return Eric to Dreamlight Valley if you help her find the source of the magic in the Forgotten Lands and extract some of the dark magic. It’s that simple… cue eerie music and sinister laughter.

So, you make a deal with Ursula.

Head to the Forgotten Lands and see what you can find. There are some old ruins there, so that’s a good place to start.

There really isn’t much left of the ruins, but there are 4 low pedestals standing inside the broken-down walls. On one of the pedestals stands a strange Dark Crystal. This is surely what Ursula is after.

But a deal with Ursula is never that simple.

Quest Task: Investigate the ruins in the Forgotten Lands.

Quest Task: Pick up the Dark Crystal from the pedestal.

As soon as you remove the Dark Crystal from the pedestal, all four of the pedestals in the ruins start to glow. You need to talk to Ursula and tell her what just happened.

Quest Task: Bring the Dark Crystal to Ursula.

Ursula is fascinated by what you found. The Dark Crystal definitely has power and if there are four pedestals, there are likely more Dark Crystals somewhere in the Valley.

Plus, Ursula’s pretty sure that the glow of the pedestals is the Ruins’ way of calling out for all of the Crystals.

Handing you the Dark Crystal back, Ursula asks you to find the other three and return them all to the pedestals. It will be very interesting to see what happens when they are all in place!

Quest Task: Find the remaining Crystals in the Village – 4.

Search for the remaining three crystals. They are scattered all around the Valley.

Check the Frosted Heights, Sunlit Plateau, and Glade of Trust. You’ll find them on the ground and giving off the same dark glow as the pedestals.

Making sure that all four of the Dark Crystals are in your backpack Inventory, head back to the Forgotten Lands.

Approach the pedestals and interact with them.

Place one of the crystals on each pedestal by selecting the Dark Crystals in your Backpack Inventory and clicking “transfer”. There isn’t an order to the placement, so you don’t have to worry about matching a specific crystal to a pedestal.

Quest Task: Place the Crystals on the Pedestals in the ruins of the Forgotten Lands:

• First pedestal
• Second pedestal
• Third pedestal
• Fourth pedestal

When all the Dark Crystals are in place, a new crystal appears. This one sits on a small low pedestal in the middle of the semi-circle created by the other pedestals.

Ursula is going to want to see this new Magical Crystal! Take it to her.

Ursula can sense the magical power in the new crystal as soon as you approach. She’s already thinking of what she can do with all that power.

But you did make a deal with Ursula, and she needs to keep up her end of the bargain before you hand over the crystal.

Without a word of protest, Ursula hands over Prince Eric. But there’s a catch. He’s still in plant form and transforming him back is going to be up to you to figure out.

A deal with Ursula can never be simple, can it.
