Head through the open gate and further into Skull Rock. Take the path to the top of a ledge, where you can look down into the Pirate Ship that was docked at the entrance. The path appears to continue on the ledge at the opposite side of the Pirate Ship. But how can you get there?

Clear away some of the large brown rock piles. Behind the rocks on the ledge is a Rope Winch wheel. Nice.

Also caught in the rocks is a Pixie Dust Orb. As soon as you break down the Rock Pile, the Pixie Dust Orb takes flight, dropping Pixie Dust as it goes.

The Pixie Dust Orb is full of magic. It makes its’ way through the cracks in yet another closed gate. This one is near the entrance to Skull Rock.

Go back down the path and use the Rope Winch wheel you found to open the gate. Head through.

You have entered a long tunnel. Rocks have blocked the path in quite a few places, but your Royal Pickaxe makes quick work of them.

Continue through the tunnel, picking up the dropped Pixie Dust as you go along.

You’ll finally come across a treasure chest hidden behind some rocks and a side room with another chest and piles of gold. The Pixie Dust Orb leads you through this room and to one last chamber in the tunnel. Then it slips through a crack in the wall, once again just out of reach.

But all is not lost, return to the room with the chest and gold. The Pixie Dust Orb is floating in the center. This time, you can grab it!

• Catch the Pixie Dust Orb

You’ve gathered quite a bit of Pixie Dust in your chase after the Pixie Dust Orb. Use it on the Pirate Ship!

The Pixie Dust causes the Pirate Ship to rise out of the water and fly. Perfect. It’s just the right height to form a bridge between the ledges above!

Take the path back to the top of the ledge. The Pirate Ship has indeed created a bridge, so go on board and make your way across the length of the Pirate Ship to the ledge on the other side. The Forgotten and Shadow are waiting for you on the other side next to yet another closed gate.

Echo (The Forgotten) has been looking around and noticed that the barrels on both sides of the ledge have pictures on them. It’s another puzzle!

This time you need to match up the pictures by turning the barrels so that the ones with related pictures point to each other. Of course, it’s not quite that simple. The related barrels are on opposite ledges and not that easy to see. But getting the direction close usually works fine.

Quest Task: Talk to Echo (The Forgotten) across the ship in Skull Rock.

The Jade Skulls will once again give you clues to help you solve the puzzles if you like.

Hook:

Pro Tip: When you turn the barrels, keep an eye on the quest task. This is not an exact science. As soon as you get the barrels turned in the general direction of the barrel with the related picture on the other side of the ledge, the puzzle for that set of barrels will show as complete.

Once you have solved the barrel puzzle, a key appears on a low table next to The Forgotten. It’s the key to the Captain’s Cabin.

Quest Task: Find the key to the Captain’s Cabin.

Pick up the key and head inside the Captain’s Cabin. The Rope Winch Wheel is hidden inside!

You can now open the next gate.
