Oversleeping
Oswald’s house on Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley is almost too comfortable. Oswald finds himself sleeping late every morning. Being so comfortable is an alarming development that he didn’t expect. He’s missing out on spending time with his friend Stitch!

Alarm Clocks Needed
Oswald’s needs something to help him wake in the morning and a single alarm clock won’t do the trick. He sleeps way to soundly for that!
Oswald needs many alarm clocks! But that should be no problem for a master crafter like yourself!
Nonetheless, to find all the items you need to craft all the clocks Oswald is requesting will likely require some time. Here is where to find the materials you need.
Mechanical Parts and Bronze Ingot: Crafted at your standard crafting station
Plastic Scrap: Fish anywhere in Ancient’s Landing – outside the circles
Zinc: Mine anywhere in Wild Tangle
Quest Task: Gather the following:
- Mechanical Parts – 35
- Bronze Ingots – 15
- Plastic Scraps – 50
- Zinc – 10
Pro Tip: Some recipes do not show up at your crafting station until you collect or make each of the items in the recipe at least once. If you don’t see the Mechanical Parts recipe, make 1 Bronze Ingot and 1 Brass Ingot. The recipe will automatically be added once you do.

Crafting Alarm Clocks
Head to your favorite standard crafting station. You’ll find the Oswaldian Alarm Clocks crafting recipe under Functional Items.
Oswald needs many alarm clocks. The nice thing about the Oswaldian Alarm Clocks recipe is that it makes the whole set at once, so you only need to craft 1 set.
Quest Task: Craft a set of Oswaldian Alarm Clocks – 1.
Quest Task: Make sure you have the Oswaldian Alarm Clocks in your Inventory – 1.

Wind Up Clocks
Oswald takes one look at the set of clocks and starts to plan for a few modifications. What would happen if he used his special key to wind them up?
Yes, wind them up. In the olden day… many alarm clocks had a key on the back, which you’d use to wind them up each day. They didn’t work on electricity. But enough about that!
Quest Task: Bring the set of Oswaldian Alarm Clocks to Oswald.
Quest Task: Check back with Oswald in 10 minutes.

Oswald’s Special Key
When you check back with Oswald 10 minutes later, he’s acting rather strangely. You finally get him to admit he used his special key to, as he calls it, “glad them up”.
Then, there was an alarming development. The special key gave the Oswaldian Alarm Clocks legs, and they took off out the door! They are running wild all over Eternity Isle!
Quest Task: See how Oswald is getting alone with his alarm clocks.

Chasing the Clocks
You need to track down all the Alarm Clocks! If they continue to dance around Eternity Isle, they’ll keep all the residents awake.
Finding them all will take you on a merry hunt all over Eternity Isle.
Quest Task: The alarm Clocks are on the loose! Catch the runaways before they wake up the entire Island.

Another Alarming Development
There is another alarming development however!
It turns out, that there are three more fugitive clocks to find. They’re triplets, although how Oswald knows this is beyond me since they all look alike, but I digress.
More concerning is that these alarm clocks seem to be multiplying. You need to find these three before anymore “just happen”.
At least this time Oswald has some idea of where the triplets were last seen, so that narrows the search tremendously! Still, you’ll need your Royal Tools to catch these tricky triplets!
Quest Task: Find the remaining fugitive clocks.
- Rumba was seen swimming around Ancient’s Landing
- Conga was spotted resting under a rock in the Wild Tangle
- Waltz was spied getting a good tan in the Glittering Dunes
Quest Task: Make sure you have the last alarm clock triplets in your Inventory.

The Final Three
One more time, head back to Oswald with the remaining Alarm Clocks tucked safely in you backpack Inventory.
After handing them over, you and Oswald have another problem to consider. There must be a way to calm down the rambunctious clocks, so they don’t take off again. They keep waking up the Villagers.
Maybe Olaf has an idea!

Making Amends
Oswald does feel bad that his alarm clocks caused a lot of Villager to lose sleep.
He has an idea that will help them get through their day. He has a special coffee recipe. All you need to do is gather the ingredients and whip up a batch. He’ll even supply the Oswaldian Garlic!
The recipe also calls for coal, which can be obtained, randomly, by mining anywhere. You can also purchase it at Kristoff’s Stall in Dreamlight Valley.
To find pearls, you’ll need to haul out your Royal Shovel and do a little digging. You can randomly dig up pearls anywhere in Ancient’s Landing and luckily, you often receive more than one with a single dig.
Quest Task: Talk to Oswald about the consequences of his clockwork experiments.
Quest Task: Gather the following resources:
- Coal – 40
- Pearls – 28
- Oswaldian Garlic – 4

Crafting Oswald’s Black (and White) Coffee
Interestingly enough, Oswald’s Black (and White) coffee is crafted, not cooked. Head to a nearby crafting station and get to work.
The recipe can be found under Potion & Enchantment.

Coffee Delivery
Another alarming development!
Although, this is Oswald, so I suppose we should have expected something unique to happen when we delivered coffee containing Oswald’s special blend of garlic!
Luckily the strange affect that the coffee has on each of the Villagers is temporary, although highly amusing, if I may say so! I won’t spoil it. Enjoy!

Celebrate Friendship
With all the alarming development under control… or sleeping… you can take a moment to talk to Oswald about what started all of this. Oswald kept missing brunch with Stitch!
Oswald has found a new friend in Stitch and wants to do something special for him. He did miss a lot of their brunch appointments because he overslept, after all.
It’s decided. You are going to help him prepare a Friendship Picnic with Stitch. It’s going to have a special theme…Black and White, of course.
Quest Task: Decorate to prepare a Friendship Picnic for Oswald and Stitch.
- White Furniture – 2
- Black Furniture – 2
- Quirky Furniture – 2

A Friendship Picnic
With some general parameters from Oswald, you make quick work of creating the perfect picnic spot. The location and specific decor are entirely up to you, of course.
When all the black and white decorations are in place, Oswald supplies the final item for you to place at the picnic site, a Cartoon Parasol. As soon as you set the Cartoon Parasol down, the party begins!
Quest Task: Place the Cartoon Parasol – 1.

Learning a Lesson – or Not
The party was a ringing success!
Before you leave, ask Oswald if he has learned his lesson about building household objects that can run off on their own! He assures you he has!!
Did he just say that the lesson is… that it’s a riot!?!
Quest Task: See how Oswald enjoys the Friendship Picnic.
