Anna wants Elsa to join her in Dreamlight Valley and has scouted out a location that might be the perfect place for Elsa to live. She can see an icy cave in the Forest of Valor. But she can’t get to it to check it out.

There are large stumps blocking the bridge over the river in Forest of Valor. They are preventing Villagers for exploring a good portion of the Forest.

Anna needs your help to open the path!

The large Tree Stumps are too strong for your Royal Shovel to remove. Now what?

Anna remembers seeing a book in her house that might just hold the answer. Looks like Anna’s House is your next stop!

Quest Task: Search for the right book in Anna’s House.

Anna was right! The book contains a crafting recipe that will upgrade your Royal Shovel!

Gather what you need for the Royal Shovel Upgrade. Here is where to find them.

• Softwood – Found on the ground in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor
• Iron Ingot – Crafted from Iron Ore and Coal Ore, which are obtained by mining in Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Forgotten Lands and once opened, the Frosted Heights.
• Hardwood – Found on the ground in Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor and once opened, the Frosted Heights.

Once you have all the items, head to your favorite crafting station. The Shovel Blade Crafting Recipe is found under Potion & Enchantment.

Quest Task: Gather the materials to upgrade your Shovel:

• Softwood – 10
• Iron Ingot – 6
• Hardwood – 4

Quest Task: Craft the Shovel Blade at the Crafting Station.

Open your backpack Inventory and locate the Shovel Blade you just crafted. Select it and “use” it. Your Royal Shovel will be permanently upgraded. It is now strong enough to dig up both the small and the large tree stumps that are scattered throughout the Forest of Valor.

Quest Task: Remove the tree stumps blocking the wooden bridge in the Forest of Valor – 3.

Your Royal Shovel is working great. It only takes a few shovel strokes to clear the stumps blocking the Forest of Valor’s bridge.

Tell Anna! There is a whole new side of the Forest of Valor for you to explore! And more importantly to Anna, you can now reach the entrance to the Ice Cavern.

Quest Task: Talk to Anna to tell her the bridge is clear.

Quest Task: Visit the Ice Cavern with Anna.

Anna joins you in the Forest of Valor and together you check out the Ice Cavern. There are large ice piles blocking the entrance, but from what Anna can see, she thinks Elsa will love this place.

Take a picture of the Ice Cavern. Anna is going to use it to create an icy invitation for Elsa to come and visit.

Quest Task: Show the picture to Anna.

With Anna’s icy invitation in your backpack Inventory, head back to the Frozen Realm.

Elsa is standing in the clearing near the portal when you arrive. Hand her Anna’s invitation.

Quest Task: Make sure you have Anna’s Letter in your Backpack.

Quest Task: Bring Anna’s Letter to Elsa in the Frozen Realm.

Elsa is happy to get Anna’s letter. She is just about done wrapping things up in the Frozen Realm and promises she’ll join Anna in Dreamlight Valley soon.

It won’t be long before the two sisters are reunited. Anna can’t wait!!
