Sunlit Plateau Clutter

Scar is annoyed with all the wildebeest bones cluttering Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Sunlit Plateau. He is quick to remind you that breaking bones up is something that you are responsible for. At least you were before The Forgetting.

Scar’s Complaint

Wildebeest bones keep cropping up in the Sunlit Plateau. In Scar’s opinion, it’s getting out of hand. Before The Forgetting, your Royal Shovel was good at breaking bones and removing clutter. Now, however, your Royal Shovel just isn’t up to the task of breaking bones. Scar wants you to fix that and soon!

Scar sends you to Scrooge. Scrooge helped you make the Royal Shovel sharper once before. Likely he can do it again.

A Shovel Head Mold

Scrooge gives you a Shovel Head Mold that he has in inventory and sends you back to Scar for instructions on how to use it. It appears Scar knows more about the Shovel upgrade process than he originally let on.

Sure enough, Scar recounts the materials you need to make the mold. Most of them you can find in the Sunlit Plateau. The Iron Ingots you need to craft. Best get to work.

Quest Task: Return to Scar.

Quest Task: Gather the materials to improve your Royal Shovel.

The Lion’s Claw Shovel Head

With all the items in your inventory, you go to your crafting station and begin crafting. The mold Scrooge gave you is for a Lion’s Claw Shovel Head. How appropriate!

A Stronger Shovel

Using the new Lion’s Claw Shovel Head now in your backpack, is a simple matter. Once you do, your Royal Shovel’s strength is greatly improved.

Head to the Sunlit Plateau and get rid of some of those wildebeest bones that are bothering Scar so much.

Quest Task: Improve the Shovel by using the new Lion’s Claw Shovel Head.

A Big Improvement

The Royal Shovel makes quick work of the small piles of Wildebeest Bones, but Scar is also quick to complain that you left all the large ones on the ground. Even your upgraded Royal Shovel isn’t sharp enough to remove them. At least not yet.

Nonetheless, Scar will take what he can get. It’s a big improvement or as he puts it, it will do. That from Scar, is high praise.

Quest Task: Return to Scar.
