First things first. You need to figure out how to make the carpet fly. So, head to the Magic Master, Merlin.

Unfortunately, carpet enchanting isn’t something Merlin has much experience with, but he does have several books in his library that will help. So, that’s your next stop!

Quest Task: Talk to Merlin.

Look around the Dreamlight Library for the books that Merlin suggested. Once you have them all, find Aladdin and hand them over.

The books confirm that to enchant a carpet, it needs to be made from scratch. Aladdin wanted to do that anyway. In fact, he already asked Minnie for advice with the textiles and design.

Quest Task: Search the Dreamlight Library for books about:

• Carpet weaving
• Fabric enchantment
• Flying technique

Quest Task: Bring everything to Aladdin.

While Aladdin studies Merlin’s books more closely, head over and talk to Minnie. She gives you a list of materials that will be needed for the magic carpet.

Most of the items on Minnie’s list will likely be in your storage chests. However, if you are missing anything, here is where to find it.

Dream Shards – Dig in cracked earth spots (appears randomly)

Blue Hydrangea – Grow wild on Dazzle Beach

Purple Bell Flower – Grow wild in Forest of Valor

Fiber

• Crafted from Seaweed
• Sold at Kristoff’s Stall for 6 Star Coins (appears randomly)

Quest Task: Talk to Minnie.

Quest Task: Gather the following materials:

• Dream Shards – 4
• Blue Hydrangea – 4
• Purple Bell Flower – 4
• Fiber – 25

Take all the supplies to Aladdin’s house. He and Minnie are waiting for you there.

Aladdin takes the supplies, along with Minnie’s design, and starts to weave the carpet!

Quest Task: Return to Aladdin and Jasmine’s House with the carpet supplies.

Quest Task: Give the gathered materials to Aladdin.

The carpet looks great! Aladdin even found a Magic Scroll in one of the Library Books. It’s just what you need to enchant the new Dreamlight Carpet to make it fly!

Quest Task: Enchant the Dreamlight Magic Carpet using the Magic Scroll.

Quest Task: Talk to Aladdin.

Pro Tip: The Dreamlight Magic Carpet is on the floor in front of the doorway. Interact with it to apply the Magic Scroll.

It worked! You now have a Dreamlight Magic Carpet that you can actually ride!!

In fact, the Dreamlight Magic Carpet is considered a Glider! To ride it, equip it using the following menu path: Menu Wardrobe>Gliders>Dreamlight Magic.

Once it’s equipped, you can bring your own carpet out whenever you want and speed around the Valley!

Quest Task: Follow Aladdin in the Valley.

Quest Task: Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet.

Pro Tip: If you don’t see the Dreamlight Magic Carpet right away, it may have moved to the bottom of your list of Gliders.

Aladdin is so excited about being able to bring you your own magic carpet, that he setup a course for you to test it on! Minnie even provided some snacks for your Dreamlight Magic Carpet Tour.

You will, of course, need to bring your own carpet!

Your Dreamlight Valley Magic Carpet Tour begins in the Plaza, partly up the path to Dream Castle. Aladdin has setup Banners to mark the Tour’s path.

So, jump on your carpet, if you haven’t already, using the “sprint” button (L on the Switch) and start moving. Head toward the Plaza well and under the first banner to its’ left. This leads you in the direction of the Forest of Valor!

Quest Task: Glide through the Valley on your Dreamlight Magic Carpet tour!

Quest Task: Glide under the banner in the Plaza’s main square, then turn left towards the Forest of Valor.

• Make sure to stop and eat a snack if you run out of energy!

Pro Tip: If you haven’t used a glider before, you need to be sure that your energy bar is not just full, but in the “Yellow” range. This is accomplished by eating cooked meals. Raw food only fills the base energy meter. Raw food won’t move your energy bar into the second “yellow” level.

When you reach the top of the path leading into the Forest of Valor, you’ll see a banner immediately on your right. Glide under the banner and continue south until you reach the path the goes from the Forest of Valor down to Dazzle Beach. If you consider that Dream Castle is in the North of the Valley, the path you are looking for is near the Southwest corner of the Forest of Valor.

Quest Task: Glide to the place where the Plaza leads into the Forest of Valor.

Quest Task: Glide to the place where the Forest of Valor leads to Dazzle Beach.

When you reach Dazzle Beach, turn immediately to your right and take the path back up into the Peaceful Meadow.

Quest Task: Glide to Dazzle Beach.

Quest Task: Glide to the place where Dazzle Beach leads to the Peaceful Meadow.

Pro Tip: Take the path to Peaceful Meadow that is closest to the Forest of Valor, near the Cursed Cave. If you cross the bridge to the central staircase, you’ve gone too far.

Once you reach the Peaceful Meadow, head to the Central Staircase leading back down to Dazzle Beach.

Glide down the stairs and turn left. Now you are going to cross the bridge, heading to the small wooden pier.

Quest Task: Glide to the stairs leading down from the Peaceful Meadow to Dazzle Beach.

Quest Task: Glide towards the bridge on Dazzle Beach.

Your Dreamlight Magic Carpet Tour ends as you glide under the Banners and onto the Wooden Dock.

Quest Task: Glide to the wooden dock near Skull Rock.
