Moana leads you to her boat. It appears that Moana’s Boat Market is suddenly starting to offer a new fish that Moana did not catch. It’s a new purple and pink striped catfish.

Cheshire Cat strikes again!

Quest Task: Take a picture of the Cheshire Catfish on Moana’s Boat.

While the Cheshire Catfish are festive, they may not be edible. Moana heads off to warn any Villagers that may have grabbed some off the boat, not to eat them.

While Moana is off taking care of the Villagers, head to the beach and do a little fishing. There may be a few more Cheshire Catfish swimming along the beach. It would be best to catch them and get them out of circulation.

Quest Task: Fish on Dazzle Beach for any leftover Cheshire Catfish – 5.

Pro Tip: Cheshire Catfish are found in red circles. However, white fishing circles that you turn red using the Miracle Fishing Bait will not contain the Cheshire Catfish.

Take the Cheshire Catfish to Alice. She is the closest to the Cheshire Cat and will definitely want to see them.

Quest Task: Make sure you have Cheshire Catfish in your Inventory – 5.

Go to Alice’s house to continue your discussion with her. When you step inside, who is waiting? The Cheshire Cat!

Cheshire Cat is looking for a tree. Well, he’s not just looking for any tree. He’s looking for his tree and seems to think that it is somewhere inside Alice’s house.

Since a full-grown tree would be rather obvious in Alice’s house, it’s a good bet that the Cheshire Cat’s tree is going to be small.

Take a look around Alice’s house for Cheshire Cat’s Mini Tree. This is Cheshire Cat’s tree, so expect it to be any size and not necessarily 3-dimensional.

Quest Task: Find the Cheshire Cat’s Mini Tree and take a picture of it.

Pro Tip: Check the walls of Alice’s house. The Mini Tree is actually a picture in her bedroom. It’s hanging, partially hidden, behind a curtain across from the foot end of her bed.

Once you locate the picture of Cheshire Cat’s Tree, snap a picture of it with your Royal Camera.

The magic of your Royal Camera, or the magic of Cheshire Cat’s Mini-Tree, takes over and the Tree changes. The picture transforms and a small Cheshire Cat Mini Tree sits at the foot of Alice’s bed.

Quest Task: Grab the Cheshire Cat’s Mini Tree.

Quest Task: Talk to Cheshire Cat.

A Cat Tree Catastrophe seems to have been averted.

Place the Cheshire Cat Tree somewhere in Dreamlight Valley. The exact location is completely up to you.

Oh, and the Cheshire Cat Tree magic continues. The Cheshire Cat’s Tree’s is actually full size when placed in the Valley.

Quest Task: Place the Cheshire Cat’s Tree in the Valley.

Cheshire Cat has joined the Valley! In fact, once he reaches friendship level 2, he will happily get into mischief with you whenever you want to hang out. But, unlike other Villagers, he will not always be visible.
