EVE takes her Directives on Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Eternity Isle, very seriously. Her latest directive, Directive: Plant, is proving to be quite challenging, however. She leads you to her house and shows you her new houseplant. She’s trying to care for it, but things are not going very well. EVE needs your help.

Quest Task: Go to EVE’s House.

Quest Task: Talk to EVE.

The plant you find in EVEs house is something that you haven’t seen before. EVE doesn’t know what it’s called either. Her scanner isn’t programmed for many of the things she finds on Eternity Isle.

While you may not be able to immediately help the strange plant, you can do something about the scanner. An upgraded scanner will help both of you figure out what to do with the plant as well, so you start with the scanner.

Quest Task: Gather the materials:

• Ancient Gears with the Hourglass – 3
• Mechanical Parts through refinement at a crafting table – 3
• Copper – 10

Pro Tip: To get the Mechanical Parts crafting recipe, you need to first make both Bronze Ingot and Brass Ingot.

With all the items you need in your inventory, find to the nearest crafting stating and get to work.

Quest Task: Craft the Scanner Accessory.

Quest Task: Go to EVE’s House.

With the upgraded scanner in your backpack, return to EVE. It only takes her a few seconds to reinstall it. Once EVE has the scanner back in place she puts it to the test.

The upgraded scanner works wonderfully. It can now identify things on Eternity Isle, starting with the plant EVE found which you now know is called a Dreamlight Cobra Lily.

Quest Task: Make sure the Scanner Accessory is in your Inventory.

Now that you have a little more information about the plant, and EVE really wants to help it, you decide to give it another look.

As you reach out to it, the plant reacts and snaps at you. Good thing you have good reflexes. Your hand is still intact.

Quest Task: Inspect the Dreamlight Cobra Lily.

Quest Task: Return to EVE.

After sharing with EVE what happened, it’s decided that the Plant is hungry. Clearly, your hand is not on the menu, so you’ll need to find something else for it to eat.

EVE has the solution. She hands you a recipe for Gourmet Grubs. The recipe is obviously from Eternity Isle, as all the ingredients are found there. This may be just the thing.

Quest Task: Find the Ingredients:

• Sea Snail
• Sand Worm
• Scorpion

Quest Task: Cook a plate of Gourmet Grubs.

Return to EVE and hand over the plate of Gourmet Grubs you just made. She immediately takes it to her plant. Success! The plant looks much healthier and more importantly for you, it’s no longer snapping at you.

As a thank you for all your help, EVE hands over a small Dreamlight Cobra Lily sprout.

While once again, EVE’s project turned out successful, gardening may not be the best directive for her. Both you and EVE will need to think on this for a while. You’re sure you can come up with something that is a much better fit.
