Scrooge has setup a scavenger hunt to celebrate Dreamlight Parks Fest and he is going to join in the fun. Ask Scrooge to hang out with you and head out with your Royal Pickaxe in tow.

The first activity on Scrooge’s scavenger hunt is mining for gems with a friend. And that friend needs to be Scrooge himself.

Quest Task: Hang out with Scrooge McDuck to mine minerals.

Quest Task: Mine for any minerals while hanging out with Scrooge McDuck – 10.

Pro Tip: Use Miracle Pickaxe Polish or Even More Miraculous Pickaxe Polish to mine more gems. If Scrooge has the mining role, he will throw out extra gems for you at every mining spot as well.

Scrooge wants you to mine 10 gems. However, to keep things simple, any 10 gems will do. Also, you can mine anywhere in Dreamlight Valley, Storybook Vale and/or Eternity Isle.

This first task is all about having fun with a friend!

When you have all the required gems, show them to Scrooge. Once he verifies that Dreamlight Parks Fest: Dig It mining is done, he takes off to get ready for the next task in the scavenger hunt.

Hmm, what will he come up with! It appears you need to wait and see.

Quest Task: Show the minerals you collected to Scrooge McDuck.
