Erratic Transportation

Oswald is very excited. Eternity Isle is ready for…The Trolley! Plus, Oswald informs you, The Trolley is much more than erratic transportation, it is full of adventure and very sensitive as well. Sounds like it will fit right in on Eternity Isle!

Finding The Right Attire

Eternity Isle is ready for a Trolley, according to Oswald. But in order to get a Trolley, you need to be wearing the proper uniform.

You need a Trolley Conductor Hat!

Oswald is sure he had one in the past. Since it’s lost in time, your Royal Hourglass is going to be able to find it, right?

Quest Task: Using the Royal Hourglass, find the Vintage Trolley Conductor Hat around Ancient’s Landing.

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Vintage Trolley Conductor Hat in your Inventory.

Building Materials

Next thing you need to do is gather the materials to build the Trolley and some tracks.

It could take a little time to accumulate all the materials you need. Some of the items may already be in your storage chests, but due to the large quantities needed, it’s likely you’ll need to gather more.

Here is where you find everything you need.

  • Ancient Belts – Use your Royal Hourglass. They are a random find, everywhere.
  • Plastic Scraps – Fish anywhere in Ancient’s Landing, outside of the circles.
  • Bones – Fish anywhere in Glittering Dunes, outside of the circles.
  • Zinc – Mine anywhere in the Wild Tangle.
  • Copper – Random drop when mining anywhere on Eternity Isle. Also found when removing copper stone piles.
  • Tropical Wood – Found on the ground anywhere in the Wild Tangle.

Quest Task: Gather the following resources:

  • Ancient Belts – 10
  • Plastic Scraps – 120
  • Bones – 8
  • Zinc – 10

Crafting Trolley and Tracks

When you have enough materials gathered, head to a nearby standard crafting station.

You’ll find the Newborn Trolley crafting recipe under Functional Items.

The Trolley Tracks crafting recipe is found in the Fence & Paving menu.

Quest Task: Craft:

  • Trolley Tracks – 10
  • Trolley

Pro Tip: You can make any combination of Trolley Tracks you want. It’s helpful to think about how the pieces will connect when you lay them down, however, before you choose. You can, of course, make more than 10 tracks, but it’s unclear if and how the Trolley is actually going to use them once this quest ends, so don’t overthink this task.

Laying the Tracks

Once you have completed making the Trolley and tracks, find a nice stretch of land and lay out your track. Don’t worry if it’s not exactly the way you want it. You can always lay more tracks or change the configuration later.

Hmm. Now that you have tracks in place, it doesn’t seem like the Trolley will be erratic transportation after all, but time will tell.

Quest Task: Decorate the Valley with Trolley Tracks – 10.

Quest Task: Make sure the Newborn Trolley is nestled in your Inventory.

Missing Posters

The Trolley is missing! Oswald is very concerned. He’s afraid the Trolley will get lost on its’ own.

This calls for some quick action, starting with making Missing Trolley posters. Rapunzel is sure to have the poster paper. You just need to get the other materials.

Placing the Signs

The “Missing Trolley” posters are completed in a flash, once Oswald has all the materials.

Take the finished signs and head out. You’ll want to place them near the Villager’s Houses and the Cave of Wonders.

The Posters are sure to put everyone on alert and you’re going to need the help! This trolley is definitely erratic transportation.

Still, with all the Villagers helping you’re confident the lost Trolley will be found quickly!

Quest Task: Decorate around Villager’s Houses with the “Missing Trolley” Posters.

  • Near EVE’s House

You just have to get a picture of this! It’s not every day you see a flying Trolley!!

Quest Task: Take a picture of the trolley flying majestically over the waters near Ancient’s Landing.

Quest Task: Strategize with Oswald to figure out how to lure the trolley back to the ground.

Cooking Up a Plan

As with most things Oswald related, things are not always logical. But no matter. According to Oswald, you need to cook up a plan, literally, that will help the Newborn Trolley decide to land.

Oswald provides some paper for the plan, but you need to harvest wild Dates, from the Glittering Dunes and wild Nestling Pears from The Ruins or The Overlook of Ancient’s Landing.

Head to a nearby cooking station. You’re about to “cook up a plan”!

Quest Task: Gather the remaining Ingredients for the plan.

  • Date
  • Nestling Pear

Devour the Plan

As if things couldn’t get any stranger, you now need to “devour the plan”. Yup, that means exactly what you think it means. You get to eat it!

Oddly enough, eating the plan did the trick. What you need to do to get the Trolley to land becomes very clear! You just but need a little help from EVE.

Quest Task: Devour the plan to come up with a strategy.

Quest Task: Eureka! Talk to EVE to get her help with the plan.

Crafting a Landing Strip

The Trolley needs a Landing Strip!

EVE provided the flares you’ll need to guide The Trolley to the strip. With a few more items, you should be able to craft the perfect Landing Strip.

Let’s see. Bones will be needed. They can be found by fishing in the Glittering Dunes. Electric Power and Brass Ingot are crafted. That should be everything.

Head to your nearby standard crafting station and build the Landing Strip. You’ll find the Landing Strip recipe under Furniture.

Quest Task: Gather the following resources:

  • Bones – 5
  • Electric Power – 2
  • Brass Ingot – 1

Quest Task: Craft a Landing Strip.

Pro Tip: Some crafting recipes do not show up at your crafting station until you collect or make each of the items in the recipe at least once. Once you do, the recipe will automatically be added to your menu.
