On February 28, 2024, changes occur on the third floor of the Dream Castle. One of the previously blank doors suddenly has its’ own special symbol. You can now reach the Monsters, Inc. Realm. That is, you can if you have enough Dreamlight. For this door to open, you’ll need 15,000 of this precious commodity.

There’s no time like the present, however, to see what is on the other side of the door. Pay up and step through.

Passing through the Dream Castle Door, you find yourself in the Laugh Floor Lobby. But no one is around. Even the reception desk is un-monstered.

When you try to enter the Laugh Floor, the door remains tightly shut. The security scan reveals that… surprise… you’re not a monster.

Quest Task: Examine the door to the Laugh Floor.

To gain access to the Laugh Floor, you need to trick the Door security. Only Monsters can pass. You are going to put the items from the Monster Lost and Found to good use.

Quest Task: Search for something to disguise yourself as a monster.

Quest Task: Open the bag of Monstrous Accessories.

With a little creativity, you transform yourself into the perfect Monster. Adding a Monsters, Inc. Hard Hat to your outfit gives your disguise just the right finish. Laugh Floor Door, here you come!

Optional Quest Task: Experiment with Fantasy Skin Tones and Contact Lenses in the Wardrobe Menu to create a Monstrous Disguise.

Quest Task: Put on your choice of Monstrous Ears.

Quest Task: Put on your Monsters, Inc. Hard Hat once your disguise is complete.

Capture the Moment before approaching the Laugh Floor Door. Take a selfie.

Your new Monster Persona is great. This time when you approach the Laugh Floor Door, the scan is no problem. The door opens wide.

Finally, you get to experience the Laugh Floor. But once again, the place is way too quiet. Only Sulley and Mike Wazowski appear to be on the Floor.

Well one thing is for sure, they can use your help!

The next order of business is to get coffee for everyone. There is a neat coffee station in the lobby. The coffee orders are complicated, but lucky for you, there is a cheat sheet posted on the bulletin board.

Quest Task: Use the coffee station to cook:

• The Wazowski Special
• Sulley’s Coffee

The Wazowski Special is Mike Wazowski’s Coffee Drink. It’s a 5-Star meal that can be made at the coffee station in the Monsters, Inc. Lobby. All ingredients are found on the counter nearby.

The Wazowski Special Recipe:

• Coffee – 1
• Sugar – 3
• Non-dairy Screamer – 1

Sulley’s Coffee is, you guessed it, coffee for Sulley, albeit a very bitter coffee. It’s a 5-Star meal that can be made at the coffee station in the Monsters, Inc. Lobby. The ingredients you need are on the counter next to the coffee station.

• Coffee – 5

Coffee is exactly what Mike Wazowski needs before he steps through his first door of the day. This Monster Intern gig is not too bad after all. You’re making a lot of points!

Quest Task: Make sure you have Mike and Sulley’s coffees in your Inventory.

Oh No! Just after Mike passes through his first door of the day, sparks fly near the fuse box and the Laugh Floor goes dark. It appears that Monsters, Inc. blew a fuse along with its’ 113 Accident-Free Day record.

To top it off, Mike Wazowski is trapped in the human world behind the door. There doesn’t seem to be an escape claws. You and Sulley need to get him back.

Quest Task: Talk to Sulley.

Since no-one showed up for work, you and Sulley will need to troubleshoot the fuse box issue. The Emergency manual, found somewhere on the Laugh Floor, is going to help with that.

Quest Task: Find the Emergency Manual.

This is not so bad. You just need to find a few new fuses and make sure all the power lines are properly connected. Nothing a good intern, and you’re the best, can’t handle.

Quest Task: Find and replace the fuses and correct the power flow to rescue Mike.

With the repairs complete, the Laugh Floor is once again bathed in light. And best of all, Mike Wazowski comes popping back out the door.

Wow, good thing that’s over. After all that, Sulley declares, he needs a vacation! And, you know the best place for Sulley’s vacation. Dreamlight Valley!
