Shortly after your arrival in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you were given the task of finding four missing Royal Tools. Three were found in Dreamlight Valley’s Plaza. The remaining tool, a Royal Fishing Rod, is said to be in a new Biomes, the Peaceful Meadow. With the trusty Royal Pickaxe in hand, you make quick work of the large rocks blocking the path and enter the Peaceful Meadow!

Not surprising, Night Thorns cover this area as well. Time to get to work.

You’ve cleared the path to the Peaceful Meadow and removed all the Night Thorns, but still no Royal Fishing Rod has been found.

A broken fishing rod was found during the Meadow cleanup, however. Might as well try and find the owner of this one and return it.

There’s a house in the Peaceful Meadow that appears to be occupied. Entering it, you are pleased to see it belongs to Goofy!

Approaching Goofy, you show him the broken fishing rod. Goofy jumps for joy upon your arrival. Not only is Goofy excited to see someone, it’s been a long time, but you also have his lost and lucky fishing rod. How great it that!

In a few seconds, Goofy has his long lost fishing rod fixed. Now, you can be fishing Buddies. With his fishing rod returned, Goofy has an extra one. He found the spare one when the Forgetting began and wants you to have it. It’s…. drum roll please… The Royal Fishing Rod!

It doesn’t take long to get the hang of fishing. Before you know it, you have one or more fish in your inventory. Now, what to do with them!

Goofy explains that he used to have a Stall where you could sell what you caught. His Stalls fell into disrepair during the Forgetting. But, with a little help from you and Scrooge McDuck, he could be open for business again in no time!

Scrooge McDuck does have an eye for business. Not only does he have his store, he also runs Dreamlight’s Valley’s Construction firm. He truly believes that investing in Dreamlight Valley is the way to go. Improvements to the Valley can only help everyone (and in turn drive more business his way, of course.)

You’ll find Scrooge’s Construction signs throughout the Valley, wherever something needs repair or where a new building is about to be built. Scrooge’s Construction Firm is a necessary service for the Valley, and for Scrooge, a profitable venture.
