Friends Aren’t Food

Seeing Scar roam Disney Dreamlight Valley, you get the feeling that something is bothering him. Scar won’t talk to you, however, until you are wearing something “worthy” of audience with, his words, the King of the Sunlit Plateau.

Hmm, you need to address that statement with him, but first, you have to be able to talk with him. So, your first priority is, what to wear.

Fit for a Ruler

Being his difficult self, Scar won’t discuss anything until you are wearing something he deems worthy of a Ruler and an audience with him.

In this case, you need a little fashion advice. Mother Gothel is always focused on appearances. She is the perfect Villager to ask. Besides, she absolutely loves to give advice.

Fashion Advice

With a little convincing, Mother Gothel agrees to make you a coat. Of course, you must supply all the materials she needs.

All in all, that’s not a bad deal.

If you don’t have everything you need already in one of your storage chests, here is where to find anything you are short.

Fiber, Fabric and Iron Ingot can be crafted at a standard crafting station. They also randomly appear for sale at Kristoff’s Stall. Fiber sells for 6 Star Coins, Fabric is 220 Star Coins, and Iron Ingot is 150.

Mine for Citrine in the Glade of Trust or Sunlit Plateau.

Quest Task: Gather the materials needed for the coat:

  • Fiber – 10
  • Fabric – 4
  • Citrine – 2
  • Iron Ingot – 1

Quest Task: Bring the materials to Mother Gothel.

The Rulers New Clothes

The coat Mother Gothel makes for you is not bad. No, not bad at all. It has nice faux fur trim, not so unlike a Lion’s mane. This will do nicely.

Put on your new clothes and locate Scar. Hopefully you now pass his requirements and he grants you an audience.

Scar’s Concern

Finally, you can get to the bottom of Scar’s bad mood. He’s hungry, very hungry. He keeps looking at all the wildlife in the area but figures you don’t want him to eat the birds or animals. So, what does that leave? Did I mention he was very, very hungry?

Assure Scar that the birds and animals in Dreamlight Valley are indeed off limits as snacks. They are friends and friends aren’t food.

Remy is sure to have an idea of what to make a hungry lion, so that’s your next stop.

The Harshest Food Critic

Remy is surprisingly apprehensive about preparing dishes for Scar. Scar’s a harsh critic.

Still, since he doesn’t want to be on the menu himself, Remy takes on the challenge. Your help is also required. Remy asks you to prepare the main course.

Quest Task: Prepare Scar’s dinner:

  • Tekka Maki – 2
  • Sake Maki – 2

Quest Task: Make sure you have everything to feed Scar in your inventory.

  • Tekka Maki – 2
  • Sake Maki – 2
