Maui can feel power pulsating from the Limestone Fragment you uncovered when fishing for the missing island, in Demigod of the Wind and Sun.

In order to find out what the fragment really is, the limestone that is encasing it needs to be removed… very carefully. Maui wants the help of your exceptional crafting skills with this tricky task.

Head to your favorite Crafting Station. To help this task along, there is a crafting recipe, for just this occasion, under the Functional Items tab.

Use the scraping stones that Maui provided and the encrusted Limestone piece, craft the Cleaned Up Limestone.

The result is a nice black shard, but that really doesn’t help you much. Maybe Maui will have a better idea of what it is.

Quest Task: Clear the crust off the Limestone at your crafting station.

As soon as Maui sees the shard, he starts to remember more.

This shard is part of the Heart of Dreamlight Valley. It was made by the Ruler of Dreamlight Valley, to help protect the Castle and Valley.

Quest Task: Show the Shard you found to Maui.

The Heart of Dreamlight Valley used to be in the hands of the statue on the third floor of Dream Castle. Is it possible the other piece is still there?

You and Maui head straight for Dream Castle and Mickey’s statue and start to search.

Quest Task: Get to the Fountain at the top of the Castle.

Quest Task: Look for the missing piece of the Heart of Dreamlight Valley.

You’re in luck. The other piece of the Heart is lying on the floor near the fountain. But now what? It’s still broken!

Neither you nor Maui know how to make repairs to the Heart of Dreamlight Valley. Normal repairs won’t work in this case. It’s best to consult the resident Magic Expert and world’s most powerful Wizard, in case you wanted to know, Merlin!

Quest Task: Make sure you have both Heart fragments in your Inventory.

Merlin is delighted to see that you found the pieces to the Heart of Dreamlight Valley.

He is also able to fill in a little more of the mystery and how the Heart ended up broken.

With a little guidance from Merlin, you now know how to fix the broken heart.

Head to the Forgotten Lands and the Frosted Heights to gather the items you need.

Check your inventory for Purified Night Shards, or the materials to make them.

If you don’t have either in stock, find a few cracked ground spots around the Valley and dig up some dream shards and night shards. With those materials in hand, you can have a few Purified Night Shards crafted in no time!

Quest Task: Gather the following Ingredients to fix the Heart of Dreamlight Valley

• Purified Night Shards – 3
• Water from the Forgotten Lands – 1
• Water from the Frosted Heights – 1

With everything you need in your Inventory, make your way back to a crafting station.

• You’ll find the instructions for repairing the Heart of Dreamlight Valley under Potion & Enchantment.

It’s not every day you have the chance to fix a broken heart!!

In no time, the Heart of Dreamlight Valley is as good as new. Take it to Maui and see what he thinks.
