Where is My Recipe?

Have you often wondered why you see new crafting recipes show up, apparently randomly, while you are collecting materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Have you ever looked for a recipe at your crafting station and not found it?

These things have happened to all of us and are especially true early in the game! Here’s why.

Not all recipes are available at the crafting station when you start your game or when new Quests appear. Many of the recipes show up only after you have collected or made, for the very first time, at least 1 of each of the resources used in the recipe. The key here is “the very first time”.

Interestingly enough, you don’t need to have all the recipe items in your inventory for the recipe to appear. You also don’t need to collect them all at once. You simply need to have collected or made each of the items the recipe requires at some point in the game, at least once.

As soon as you have acquired the final item, the crafting recipe will automatically be added to your recipe list. Plus, the recipe will briefly show up on the right side of the screen to let you know you have something new to make.

So, you see, the recipes don’t really show up randomly at all!

Happy Crafting!
