Kristoff is very good at fending for himself in the woods.

While he waited for Donald Duck to return from his journey into the Dark Grove, Kristoff setup camp in the Forest of Valor. When Donald finally returned quite a long time later, he informed Kristoff in his very straightforward way, that Kristoff was a bit, shall we say, “ripe”.

Kristoff is in bad need of soap. He is hoping you can help him make some. The process starts with gathering some Burned Logs from his campfire in the Forest of Valor. This sounds interesting.

Quest Task: Get the Burned Logs from Kristoff’s old campfire in the Forest of Valor.

The first step in Kristoff’s soap recipe is to make Lye. This requires ashes.

Take the Burned Logs that were found in the Forest of Valor to your crafting station and grind them up into a nice fine pile of Ashes.

Next, boil the Ashes to make the Lye. This is done at your cooking station.

I really, really hope you used a separate pot for this and made sure to get rid of it before making any more food. This might be a dream, but still, Yuck!

The final ingredient for your soap is oil. Carrot Oil always works, according to Kristoff, but you suggest getting some input from Maui. He has great hair and is sure to have a secret ingredient that will make the soap even better.

Maui is a great help. He does indeed have a suggestion for your soap and sends you off to pick coconuts. Kristoff’s hasn’t used coconuts before when making soap, but he’s happy to give the soap a try.

Head to a nearby crafting station and whip up some soap.

When it’s all done, go and find Kristoff. Very soon he will be leaving the woods behind, or if not the woods exactly, at least the odor!

Kristoff’s friendship quests continue, although for us they did not come in Friendship Level order. Our next adventure was Village Project: A Mountain Man’s Stall, Kristoff’s Level 6 Friendship Quest. Kristoff’s Level 3 Friendship Quest, Frozen Memories, didn’t appeared until after his Level 10, A Broken Sled. Regardless of the order, enjoy Kristoff’s quests!
