Sea Turtles just need a little encouragement to come out of their shells and become your friend.

When you first approach a Sea Turtle, they will cower in their shells. But just be patient. Wait quietly for a little bit and they will realize that you mean no harm and pop back out, looking for a tasty treat.

You can find 5 different Sea Turtles on Dazzle Beach, however, there are usually only 2 on the beach at one time. Usually, the Sea Turtles hang around all day, but there are some exceptions. On Sunday, the first 2 Sea Turtles stay only until noon. Then they leave and two different ones show up. On Monday, the Black Sea Turtle pops out with a unique schedule that is its’ alone.

Befriending Disney Dreamlight Valley Critters takes a little time. Once accomplished, however, they can join you, as your companion, whenever you want them to.

Selecting a companion is as easy as changing your clothes.

Menu: Wardrobe>Companions

When a critter is your companion, they will follow you around the valley, interacting with the Valley and Villagers. It’s a nice way to add some fun to your daily tasks.

Pro Tip: Unique companions that are purchased, redeemed through codes or rewarded in quests and star paths are only found in the Companion menu. You won’t see them in the Collections>Critters menu.
