Has anyone else wondered why there are two pillars on Dazzle Beach? The Pillar on the Beach was one of the first to recover its’ orb. The second pillar still sits alone on Skull Rock Island, surrounded by dark magic.

Quest Task: Uncover the mystery of the Pillar of Unity on Skull Rock island.

While you were investigating the Dark Castle, it’s likely that you came across an orb. It was just lying around on the floor of one of the balconies. At the time, you had other things on your mind, and probably just slipped the orb in your backpack. Now that you have a little time on your hands, it’s time to find its’ home.

There is really only one Pillar left in Dreamlight Valley without its’ orb. It’s the Pillar of Unity on Skull Rock, just off of Dazzle Beach. Since the Orb in your possession is the Orb of Unity, it’s easy to deduce just where the Orb in your backpack belongs.

Pro Tip: If you didn’t find the Orb of Unity on your earlier trip into the Dark Castle, return after The Remembered Quest. There is now a warp point next to the first floor door. It will take you to the balcony where the Orb of Unity lies, waiting for you to retrieve it.

The Orb of Unity slides neatly into the Pillar of Unity on Skull Rock. As you have come to expect, immediately upon replacing the orb, light and magic flows from the Pillar dispelling the Dark Magic that was surrounding it. What you didn’t expect was the projections that circle the ground around the Pillars.

Yes, projections. The Pillar is projecting a circle of symbols on the sands of Skull Rock. Each symbol is unique and oddly familiar. There are 7 symbols in total and if you look closely, you’ll see that each one is a different color. Okay, that’s not all that significant, but I didn’t notice it at first and it is kind of cool… but I digress.

Where was I, ah yes, 7 symbols. Is it just a coincidence that there are also 7 pillars around Dreamlight Valley? I think not. Now you just need to figure out what to do about it.

To solve the Projection Puzzle, you need to move all the Pillars from around Dreamlight Valley onto Skull Rock Island. The symbol in the Pillar’s Orb, corresponds to the symbol the Unity Orb is projecting on the ground.

Place the appropriate Pillar on it’s symbol in the following order. Start with the Pillar between the Pillar of Unity and the Raft, we’ll call this 12 o’clock, and then move clockwise.

• 12 o’clock – Pillar of Friendship (Peaceful Meadow)
• 2 o’clock – Pillar of Trust (Glade of Trust)
• 4 o’clock – Pillar of Nurturing (Sunlit Plateau)
• 6 o’clock – Pillar of Remembrance (Forgotten Lands)
• 8 o’clock – Pillar of Love (Frosted Heights)
• 9 o’clock – Pillar of Courage (Forest of Valor)
• 10 o’clock – Pillar of Power (Dazzle Beach)

Just as you complete the last step of the Projection Puzzle, you’ll hear rumbling emanating from the cave on Skull Rock and the ground around will tremble for just a moment.

What does it mean? Merlin is the wizard with all or at least most of the answers, so leave Skull Rock to go check with him. No immediate answer is forthcoming, however.

Still Merlin is taking action. Meaning, Merlin is doing what Merlin does best. He’s off to do more research.

You’ll just have to wait to see what he comes up with. There are so many possibilities!!
