And that is? We look to the stars to guide us.

But that’s part of the problem.

Follow Simba to the cliffs in the jungle. It’s a dark night. In fact, it’s a strangely dark night. There are no clouds, no stars to guide us, and haven’t been for ages, according to Simba.

Quest Task: Follow Simba deeper into the Jungle.

Something is definitely wrong. The constantly cloudy skies in the Lion King Realm feels like a magical phenomenon.

Head back to Dreamlight Valley and find Merlin.

Quest Task: Return to Dreamlight Valley and talk to Merlin.

Since the various realms were created by the Villagers that reside there and are a reflection of their memories and feelings, the task ahead may be a difficult one.

Start by making something that holds meaning to Simba, to channel your magic. He mentioned Rafiki’s Walking Stick when you talked to him. That would be perfect.

Gather the materials you need. Most will likely already be in your storage chests, but for anything you may be short, here is where to find it.

Softwood

• Found in all areas of Dreamlight Valley except on Dazzle Beach
• Dig tree stumps in Forest of Valor
• Sold at Kristoff’s Stall for 5 Star Coins – appears randomly (Max Daily Qty – 20)

Fiber – crafted from seaweed, which are found by fishing outside the circles anywhere in Dreamlight Valley

Purified Night Shards – crafted from Night Shards and Dream Shards, which are found by digging in cracked earth spots throughout Dreamlight Valley

Quest Task: Gather the Following materials.

• Softwood – 5
• Fiber – 5
• Purified Night Shards – 2

Quest Task: Craft Rafiki’s Walking Stick.

Head back to The Lion King Realm and show Simba the walking stick.

Quest Task: Return to The Lion King Realm.

Quest Task: Make sure you have Rafiki’s Walking Stick in your inventory.

Place Rafiki’s Walking Stick in the small mound of stones on the cliff. You are just about ready to perform the magic to clear the clouds.

Quest Task: Bring Rafiki’s Walking Stick to Simba in The Lion King Realm.

It worked! The sky cleared! Simba can now see lots and lots of stars to guide us all.

Simba is feeling much more confident and he’s remembering a few more things his father told him.

Wise words: Good Leaders leave their “Kingdom” better than it was at the start of their leadership.

Before he leaves The Lion King Realm, he has one more thing to do.

Simba wants to bring life back to the dried-out watering hole and would like your help.

To attract small animals, the place will need plants. There are a lot of seeds in The Lion King Realm. Take a look around and gather them.

Quest Task: Gather the following seeds

• Jungle Fern Seed – 3
• Waterfall Plant Seed – 3
• Clearing Tree Seed – 3

While you were gathering seeds, Simba was working on figuring out why the water hole dried up. He has an idea and just needs a little more time.

Quest Task: Go back to the dried-out oasis to meet Simba.

While Simba continues to work on the water problem, plant the seeds you gathered anywhere in the Dried-out Oasis.

Quest Task: Plant the seeds around the oasis:

• Jungle Fern Seed – 3
• Waterfall Plant Seed – 3
• Clearing Tree Seed – 3

Simba found the source of the water problem.

A river used to flow into the Dried-out Oasis, but a mudslide blocked its’ path. He’s been trying to dig it out, but it’s too much for his paws.

Your Royal Pickaxe, however, makes quick work of clearing the river’s path!

Quest Task: Use your pickaxe to free the water source.

Quest Task: Talk to Simba.

The Dried-out Oasis is no longer dry. It’s flourishing. You’ve parted the clouds. There are stars to guide us once again visible in the sky.

The Lion King Realm is in much better shape than when you first arrived.

It’s time to return to Dreamlight Valley and Simba is going to join you this time.

Quest Task: Return to Dreamlight Valley.
