Flynn is feeling that he is still in the company of the wolf he “thought” he became when Maleficent cursed him. Every time he sees the Frog Snippets running around the Vale, he just has to chase them.

Maybe if you thin the Snippet population, things will be a bit better. Grab your Royal Net and do a little chasing of your own.

Getting rid of some of the Snippets that are bothering Flynn is only a temporary solution. They will come back!

Talk to the Lorekeeper. She’s been here a long time and will hopefully know of something more permanent.

Quest Task: Talk to the Lorekeeper to find a more permanent solution to the Frog Snippets.

The Lorekeeper gives you a crafting recipe for something called a Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent. This is not a potion, but rather a Functional Item.

The Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent does exactly what the title implies. It repels the Snippets, meaning less Snippets spawn in the area around it.

Crafting Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent Recipe takes a lot of Storybook Magic along with other resources found exclusively on Storybook Vale. If you don’t have everything you need in your storage chests, here is where to find them.

Star Sapphire – Mine anywhere in Everafter (drops randomly)

Lamprey

• Location: Anywhere in Everafter
• Circle Color: Red

Petrified Wood

• Mine in The Bind or Everafter (drops randomly)
• Dig up Petrified Wood Rock Piles

Volcanic Rock – Dig in Everafter or Mythopia (drops randomly)

Storybook Magic

• Complete Storybook Duties or Storybook Vale Duties in the Dreamlight Menu
• Note: Storybook Duties only appear while on Storybook Vale

Quest Task: Gather the following materials for the Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent:

• Mine a Star Sapphire
• Fish a Lamprey
• Forage Petrified Wood – 5
• Dig Volcanic Rock – 10
• Storybook Magic – 500

Pro Tip: Craft Miracle Shovel Polish or Even More Miraculous Shovel Varnish and use on your Royal Shovel to get more items when digging. Take along a Villager with a digging role to increase your loot even more. Neither of these guarantees you’ll dig up Volcanic Rock, but the chances are much better.

Head to a nearby crafting station and start crafting.

Once completed, place the Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent near Flynn’s House.

Pro Tip: Crafting a Basic Faerie Snippet Repellent is great for Flynn, but not so much for you if you are trying to catch Snippets for reordering puzzles. Keep this in mind when placing it. You may want to consider removing it after the quest completes.

With the Snippet problem taken care of, Flynn shares another concern of his. While he was in the company of the wolf, or controlled by the wolf curse, he started burying other peoples’ things.

Flynn wants to find the items he buried and return them to their owners. A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Quest Task: Talk to Flynn.

Quest Task: Search outside Flynn’s House for buried items – 3.

Digging around Flynn’s house produces a Photo Album, a Picture Frame and a BnL Fishing Cooler. Now it is just a matter of finding the item’s owners.

Take the BnL Fishing Cooler to WALL-E and the photo album to Mirabel. The Picture Frame contains a picture of Minnie Mouse, so check with Mickey.

Everyone is very happy to get it their items back! Mission accomplished.

Although you try to help, nothing you say to Flynn really does. This requires the insight of someone who has gone through something similar.

Kristoff is happy to help and returns to Flynn’s house with you. He and Flynn have a heart-to-heart chat.

It may not be nice to eavesdrop, but it is fun to hear what is being said!

While Kristoff and Flynn have their chat, clean up the mess inside Flynn’s house by stamping on it.

Flynn is definitely missing Rapunzel, but he is not ready for a reunion. At least not yet. He needs to get rid of this feeling of being in the company of the wolf Maleficent made him. Plus, he wants to help you deal with Maleficent.

Once that is done, he will be ready to see Rapunzel again!
