Merlin has discovered an enchantment that will allow you to get rid of the large mushroom clusters cluttering Dreamlight Valley and he would like you to help.

The first step is to craft some Purified Night Shards. They are made by combining Night Shards and Dream Shards at your crafting station. Both of these are random finds when you dig in any of the cracked earth spots throughout the Valley.

The Purified Night Shard Recipe can be found under Potion & Enchantment at your crafting station.

The enchantment that Merlin has in mind actually required the Purified Night Shards to be crushed into powder. You know just the Villager to help with that task – WALL-E

Merlin thinks you are ready to become a Wizard! The Final Trail will be to figure out how to make the remaining ingredients for the enchantment which will remove the large mushrooms clusters.

Merlin provides a book on how to enchant objects and a small hint. He hands you an Ice Tear Seed.

You have the list of ingredients that you need for the enchantment. Here is a little help with figuring out how to get them.

Falling Water – There are several waterfalls in Dreamlight Valley, but head to the south side of the Glade of Trust. The water cascades out of the Glade to the ocean below. Scoop up some water from the river.

Ice Heart – Plant the Ice Tear Seed and don’t forget to water it. Once you do, it only takes seconds before you can harvest it to get the Ice Heart.

Mushrooms – Gather mushrooms from the Glade of Trust where they grow wild or by eliminating the small mushroom clusters using your Royal Watering Can.

Quest Task: Gather the Ingredients mentioned in the Book.

• Falling Water – 1

• Mushrooms – 15

With all the ingredients gathered, head to a nearby crafting station to craft the Royal Watering Can Upgrading Ointment.

Merlin is very pleased with your work and immediately applies the ointment to your Royal Watering Can. Now you need to give it a try!

The Glade of Trust is the best place to test the enchantment. There are a lot of Large Mushroom Clusters there, blocking the path to the far side of the Glade.

Quest Task: Remove the Big Path-Blocking Mushroom.
