Buzz needs to return to the Forest of Valor and would like you to join him. He is getting the feeling that something important happened there. But he can’t remember what.

Hopefully, with your help, he will be able to find a clue to what he has forgotten.

Quest Task: Go to the river in the Forest of Valor with Buzz.

There is a partial memory buried near the river in the Forest of Valor. The memory is of Scar.

Buzz is now more confident than ever. The riverbank was the site of a fierce battle and he is very sure that he displayed an impressive feat of heroism in his battle with Scar.

However, since fighting is not permitted in Dreamlight Valley, you want more information. It’s time to talk to Scar.

Quest Task: Search for a buried clue about Buzz’s Past along the river in the Forest of Valor.

Quest Task: Talk to Buzz.

Scar is a little sparse with the information he provides regarding the events that occurred in the Forest of Valor. But he does tell you that it’s not at all what Buzz is making it out to be.

However, he’s just too hungry to remember anything more…

Quest Task: Talk to Scar.

Gather ingredients to make some food for Scar. He conveniently provided the recipes for two fish dishes that Remy makes which he rather enjoys.

Most of what you need is likely in your storage chests, especially since both items allow you to choose from a wide variety of ingredients. Still there are several very specific items you require and here is where to find them, if you’re short.

Tuna – Fish in Glade of Trust or Forgotten Lands (Dreamlight Valley) or The Bind (Eternity Isle)

Lemon – Grows wild in Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor

Onion – Grow in your garden or buy at Goofy’s Stall – Forest of Valor for 255 Star Coins (appears randomly)

Milk – Buy in Chez Remy’s Kitchen Pantry for 230 Star Coins.

Head to your favorite cooking station and whip up some fishy meals.

Take the completed meals to the famished Scar.

• Tuna Burger

Quest Task: Bring the meals to Scar.

Miraculously, once Scar has consumed the food, his memory returns.

He and Buzz were not fighting that day in the Forest of Valor. They were actually enjoying an activity together. Scar won’t exactly admit it, but the two of them were friends. There is even some proof of this in his Cave.

Head to Scar’s Cave and look around. There is a Star Command Badge on the ground. When you pick it up, another part of the memory pops out.

Quest Task: Search Scar’s Cave for an object proving his past friendship with Buzz.

Quest Task: You’ve found another part of the Memory! Talk to Buzz.

Buzz is having trouble believing what the fragmented past memories are starting to reveal. But he wants to know the truth and that is leading him to the river in the Sunlit Plateau.

Fish the last clue out of the river.

Quest Task: Fish the next clue from the river on the Sunlit Plateau.

You found an old fishing rod of Goody’s in the Sunlit Plateau’s river. As you examine it, the rest of the memory becomes clear.

Scar was telling the truth. There was no battle. Buzz, Scar and Goofy were simply spending an enjoyable day fishing.

Quest Task: Open your Inventory and investigate the Old Fishing Rod.

Quest Task: Talk to Buzz.

He and Scar were friends?! Buzz is struggling to believe it.

Still, when Buzz talks with Scar, his memory of the day finally returns. They had a lot of fun that day.

This experience has taught Buzz a lot. He has a whole new perspective on what it means to be a hero and how to live peacefully with everyone, including Villains, in Dreamlight Valley.

Buzz has pieced together his fragmented past, but now he has a lot to think about!
