There are a lot more Night Mite Nests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you want The Infestation Part 2 to be successful, you need to eliminate them all.

Pumbaa is waiting for you, ready to lead you to the ones he’s sniffed out.

First stop, Peaceful Meadows.

Quest Task: Talk to Pumbaa.

Pumbaa knows of 6 nests so far. They are located in the Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust and Dazzle Beach. Unfortunately, there are twice that many Night Mites running around. And these are Mega Night Mites, larger than the ones you’ve dealt with so far.

Good thing you have your disguise because The Infestation Part 2 plan has you eliminating all these nests and capturing the loose Mega Night Mites!

Quest Task: Clear the Meadow, the Glade of Trust, and Dazzle Beach from:

• Night Mite Nests – 6
• Mega Night Mites – 12

As you search the Biomes for the Night Mite Nests and Mega Night Mites, you notice a pattern.

There are two nests in each of the Biomes that Pumbaa told you to search.

In addition, you find that each nest has two (2) Mega Night Mites running back and forth near them. The Mega Night Mites seem to like to run over the same path and always end up coming back at the Nest. This makes it easy to spot them and to catch them. Just stand near the nests and they will almost come to you.

All the nests and Mega Night Mites have been dealt with.

You and Pumbaa are making good progress on The Infestation Part 2 plans.

You should really check in with Timon now and see how he’s coming.

Timon reports that the creepy crawly Night Mites have gotten into Prince Eric’s Castle! Not good!!

Go to Prince Eric’s Castle and see how bad the infestation is.

As soon as you enter, you can see the Night Mites running around. A good tactic to catch these buggers is to stand in the doorway between the two rooms of Eric’s home. When the Night Mites try to run past you, they are fairly easy to grab.

Quest Task: Go inside Prince Eric’s Castle.

The Night Mites are tricky.

The three running freely around Eric’s house, that you just caught, are not all of them. There are three more hiding in a barrel in the corner of Eric’s second room.

As soon as you check out the barrel, the remaining Night Mites are on the run.

Luckily, you’ve gotten pretty good at catching these bugs. And, since they are confined to just these two rooms in Eric’s Castle, it’s not too hard to grab them.

Ok, there are only two rooms in Eric’s Castle. But it is a Castle after all, so there should be more, right. Go with me here and use your imagination.

Quest Task: Double-check Prince Eric’s Castle for remaining Night Mites.

Quest Task: Clear Prince Eric’s Castle of the remaining Night Mites – 3.

Once you’re done chasing down the Night Mites in Eric’s Castle, check in with Pumbaa.

He confirms that Eric’s house is now Mite-free, but he has some bad news. The Night Mites have now infested three (3) other Village Homes!

Quest Task: Talk to Pumbaa about the next steps to rid the Valley of Night Mites.

Enter each of the bug infested homes. There are 3 Night Mites running around in each one, so you have your work cut out for you.

After you catch these 9 additional Night Mites, check back with Pumbaa. Hopefully the bugs haven’t spread to more homes while you were working.

Quest Task: Clear Villager homes of Night Mites.

Pumbaa is able to confirm that Diasy’s, WALL-E’s and Mike and Sulley’s houses are now Night Mite free. Unfortunately, that isn’t the end of the infestation. The Part 2 plan still has more for you to do.

Quest Task: Get the “all clear” on Villager Houses from Pumbaa.

Timon has narrowed down the location of the remaining Night Mites in Dreamlight Valley. Their scent is coming from Jack Skellington’s house.

So, that’s your next stop.

Jack has taken a liking to the Night Mites… go figure… and doesn’t like to admit that he was harboring some of the bugs.

Still, a search of his house uncovers a Night Mite Nest hidden in a corner with 3 Night Mites inside it, ready to run.

Remove the nest and catch the last of the Night Mites.

Pumbaa is happy to report that Saving the Village from the Night Mite Infestation Part 2 is just about complete. You should check with Timon regarding the next steps.

In the meantime, Pumbaa is going to spend a little time with Jack.

Your conversation with Pumbaa triggers the start of Timon’s Level 10 Quest, The Infestation Part 3.

This quest, The Infestation Part 2, will not continue for a while. You need to “almost” complete The Infestation Part 3 quest and completely finish Merlin’s quest The Infestation Finale, before you can return to the final steps of this one.
