When faced with a choice between Disney Dreamlight Valley becoming a two-dimensional world or allowing Jafar out of his lamp, you have to pick the Lesser Evil. Join us for this exciting quest and find out just how everything plays out!

Turning Two-Dimensional

You uncovered a strange two-dimensional object on Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley. What could have caused it to flatten out.

When it comes to unexplained dimensional changes, there really is only one rabbit that comes to mind. Oswald!

Quest Task: Talk to Oswald about the strange two-dimensional Phenomenon you discovered.

Experiment Gone Wrong

Oswald’s story is, well very Oswald. He was “borrowing” some dimensions from objects around him for a self-improvement exercise and now doesn’t know how to put them back.

You decide to gather all the affected objects and show Merlin.

Quest Task: Find all the strange 2D objects in Eternity Isle.

2D Objects from:

  • The Plains
  • Grasslands
  • The Docks

Quest Task: Bring the strange 2D objects to Merlin for inspection.

Flattened Objects

Merlin is concerned. The magic specific to the flat object’s shape and dimension has been tampered with. This is very much not his area of expertise. He’s not sure he can help, but something must be done.

There is one person who is quite an expert in this field, however. It’s Jafar.

Perhaps Jafar left some of his notes in his Laboratory. It’s as good a place as any to start looking for a way to reverse the effect, before it spreads to anything else!

Research Notes

You found some Research Notes in Jafar Laboratory in the Palace, but even Merlin can’t decipher them. It appears you need to talk to Jafar himself.

As much as you don’t want to release Jafar, this just might be the lesser evil. You don’t want more of the island to flatten out!

Quest Task: Bring Jafar’s research notes to Merlin.

Jafar – The Lesser Evil

Since you have securely locked Jafar in the Lamp, the only way to get him out is to take the Lamp to the Statue in the Cave of Wonders.

With the help of the Statue and your Royal Hourglass, you’ll be able to free him.

Let’s just hope he behaves this time.

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Lamp in your Inventory.

Quest Task: Prepare to break Jafar free from the Lamp:

  • Place the Lamp in the Statue of Time’s arms in the Cave of Wonders

Jafar’s Release

It’s pretty obvious that Jafar is rather bitter about being trapped in the lamp. However, with a little persuasion and the promise of giving him a second chance, which includes being able to stay out of the lamp, Jafar agrees to help.

This is going to be interesting.
