The Marble Colossus

The Statue’s Shadow is open and what a statue it is! The Marble Colossus that inspired the name for this Biome of Mythopia is quite a sight to see. And there seems to be a Mythic Trial gazebo at its’ base. Time to take a closer look.

Explore the Statue’s Shadow

The 5000 Story Magic it took to dissolve the large inkies blocking all entrances to the Statue’s Shadow was well worth it. This marble colossus should be in every Storybook Vale Visitors Guide book. It’s, well, colossal!

However, when you try to reach the bridge heading to the statue, it becomes apparent that the mechanism controlling the bridge is broken. To make matters worse, there isn’t a clue on how to repair it.

Quest Task: You’ve cleared away the ink and discovered a new part of Mythopia.

  • Explore the Statue’s Shadow

Quest Task: Try to extend the bridge to reach the statue by interacting with the panel nearby.

A Broken Bridge

You need some advice on how to fix the bridge.

Since this is obviously Hades’ domain, and if there was ever any doubt of that, the marble colossus casting its’ shadow over the Biome is sure to distinguish it, Hades seems like the best place to start. And a good choice it is too.

Gathering Materials

Hades provides the guidance you need on how to fix the bridge. It will simply require a little bit of crafting.

Check your inventory to see if you have all the items you need to make the repairs. If anything is missing, here is where to find it.

Marble – Mine in Mythopia (random drop)

Gold Ingot – Crafted from Gold Nugget and Coal Ore

Squid – Fish in blue circles in the following locations

  • Glade of Trust (Dreamlight Valley)
  • Forgotten Lands (Dreamlight Valley)
  • Mythopia (Storybook Vale)

Quest Task: Gather the materials necessary to rebuild the missing pillars.

  • Marble – 10
  • Gold Ingot – 4
  • Squid – 4

Pro Tip: Use Miracle Pickaxe Polish or Even More Miraculous Pickaxe Polish to mine more materials.

Bridge Repairs

Place the vases you just made on the marble pillars on each side of the bridge. You can now interact with the bridge controls to raise the missing section of bridge into its’ place.

Quest Task: You can now repair the bridge to the statue of Hades!

  • Place the Pain Vase on the left
  • Place the Panic Vase on the right

Quest Task: The bridge should work now…

  • Try to lower the bridge by interacting with the panel.

Pro Tip: The vases are actually identical. One side of the vase has a picture of Pain and the other side, Panic. The correct side faces forward when you place a vase on the pillar. There is no need to turn the vases or figure out what side a vase should go on.
