Mickey has a great magical chest. He locked and hid it when the Forgetting began, to make sure it would be safe. With Minnie home and his memories returning, the location of the hidden chest came back to him.

The one thing he isn’t remembering, however, is how to get his magical chest open.

Mickey brings the locked chest to you for help. Maybe your Dreamlight Magic is able to pick the lock.

Quest Task: Try opening Mickey’s chest in your Inventory.

Dreamlight Magic is a wonderful thing! Sure enough, your magic is just what is needed. The lock clicks open, and the contents is revealed.

It’s a memory. The chest was holding an important memory, or at least part of one. It looks like a door with a series of gems decorating it. What could this mean and where is the door? Maybe Mickey will remember. You can only hope.

Quest Task: Talk to Mickey.

Mickey sort of remembers the door, or should I say he remembers that there was a door. He has no clue where it is however.

He does remember one more thing. There was a riddle related to the door. He can only remember the first part of it, but it’s at least a start…

“Turrets and towers your will behold. Within: a door for things new and old.”

Quest Task: Refer to Mickey’s Memory to find the secret door.

Quest Task: You found the door!

• Use your magic on the curtain

You found the door. As soon as you remove the curtain to reveal it, Mickey is certain it’s the right door, too! He even remembers the rest of the riddle.

“It needs no key you’ve ever known. To open this door, find matching stones”

Hmm, it’s definitely a riddle. You take a closer look at the door. It must hold the clue to what the riddle means.

Quest Task: Talk to Mickey.

The secret door you found is really interesting. It has a unique design on it that looks like it holds multiple gems. Unfortunately, only one of the gems is still in the door.

There are a lot of gems to be found in Dreamlight Valley. You just need to do a little mining. In fact, you might even have some gems stored in one of your own treasure chests. Surely, you can find some gems that will fit in the door and complete the beautiful design.

Who knows, maybe completing the door design is the key to solving the riddle as well!

The Secret door will open when you insert gems in the oval slots in the door design. The gems required are listed below and can be inserted in any order:

• Citrine
• Tourmaline
• Aquamarine
• Garnet

Once all the gems are in your backpack, it’s a simple thing to insert them in the door. The gems work their magic. You can now enter the secret room.

Quest Task: You did it! Go inside and see what’s there.

Pro Tip: The colored gems can be inserted in any order – create your own design!

Passing through the secret door, you enter two secret rooms. Yes, two. Keep looking around.

The rooms are filled with all sorts of things about Dreamlight Valley that Mickey wanted to make sure didn’t get forgotten. Maybe not everything inside has a large monetary valuable, but in the eyes of the Dreamlight Valley Villagers, this is truly a room filled with treasure!
