Jafar wants your help installing Imagination Generators on Eternity Isle. His generators will help Villagers tap into their Imagination without any effort.

He seems sincere enough. He even wants to help Oswald, who has been rather down since his failed experiment, during The Lesser Evil, affected Eternity Isle so negatively.

Decide to give Jafar the benefit of the doubt and setup Jafar’s Imagination Generators in the areas he requested. They can be found in your furniture menu.

Quest Task: Decorate with Jafar’s Imagination Generators in:

• Lagoon
• Borderlands
• Docks
• Near Oswald’s House

Quest Task: Wait 10 minutes for Jafar’s machines to start working.

Give Jafar’s machines some time to work and then check with Oswald.

Instead of finding Oswald in a much better mood, you find him rather down. He is feeling off and empty. That’s strange.

Quest Task: Talk to Oswald to see if Jafar’s machines cheered him up.

Since Oswald is feeling empty, you have just the thing to fill him up. Poutine.

Head to a nearby cook station.

You will find the Poutine recipe under entrees.

The Poutine did not do the trick. Oswald is full, but he still feels wrong.

This is most odd. Check with the other Villagers to make sure they are alright.

Everyone you talked to is acting strange and not like themselves at all.

There is still one Villager you need to check on. EVE.

EVE seems to be doing just fine, but in short order, she tells you that Jafar has been up to no good. He has planted something in the Villagers homes.

Hmm, could this be connected to the Villager’s strange behavior?

Quest Task: Everyone is acting strangely – maybe check in with EVE.

Sure enough, Jafar did put something in each of the Villagers homes. He left them each a Serpent Gift.

Stamp on each of the Serpent Gifts to destroy them.

Quest Task: Investigate the three Villager’s home for whatever Jafar planted.

• Rapunzel’s Tower
• Gaston’s Lodge
• Scrooge McDuck’s Store

With the Serpent Gifts destroyed, check back with Rapunzel, Scrooge, and Gaston.

Hooray, they are all back to normal. It’s also interesting to find out that they knew they were being mean, but could do nothing about it.

Gaston has an even more disturbing story. Jafar was controlling him with his scepter and using him to haul heavy equipment into the Ancient Ruins.

This does not sound good. Not good at all!!

Quest Task: Make sure everyone is feeling normal once more.

• Listen to Rapunzel and Scrooge McDuck just outside Scrooge’s Store.
• Check with Gaston.

Head to the lower level of the Ancient Ruins. Jafar is there along with Oswald, who is trapped in the center of some sort of force field.

Jafar is using his machines to drain Oswald of his magic. He must be stopped!

Quest Task: Investigate the Ancient Ruins.

• Search for Jafar’s secret machine.

Quest Task: Confront Jafar about his sinister plot.

Jafar is so focused on Oswald, you can move about the room and find the power sources for his machines without his interference. There are two Major Essences and the New Stone you helped Jafar craft in The Alchemy Revolution.

Your Royal Watering Can comes in very handy here. Dousing the power sources with water puts them out of commission. The barrier around Oswald is weakening quickly.

Use your Royal Pickaxe to destroy Jafar’s Machines. They are the posts that make up Oswald’s trap. This finishes the job and Oswald is free.

Quest Task: Find the power sources to Jafar’s Machines and short-circuit them with your Royal Watering Can – 3.

Quest Task: Break Jafar’s Machines using your Pickaxe while Jafar is distracted – 3.

You freed Oswald just in time, but before you can send Jafar back into the Lamp, Oswald intercedes.

During Jafar’s experiment, Oswald got a glimpse into Jafar’s mind. He’s very lonely and Oswald is convinced that more isolation would only make things worse. He wants you to give Jafar another chance.

What an odd request coming from someone Jafar was close to destroying.

Hmm. What to do…

Quest Task: Check in with Oswald.
