We left Rapunzel’s previous quest, The Ancient Door, just as you and Rapunzel opened the Ancient Door on Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Eternity Isle and raced through.

You now find yourself at the top of a stairs that leads down to a circular platform. To the left of the platform is a small floating island. That’s not very helpful, though, as there is no bridge to reach it.

In the platform itself, is built what looks like a very large Sundial. There is another Sun Core floating near the ground in the circle of the Sundial. Rapunzel and you head down the steps to check it out.

Quest Task: Investigate the second Sun Core near the Sundial.

As you approach the Sun Core, it starts to zoom around the platform. Move quickly into its’ path to intercept it.

Quest Task: Catch the Floating Sun Core on the Sundial Island.

Now that you have the Sun Core, you just need to find where it belongs.

It looks like it fits into the Sundial mechanism that moves around the circular track in the platform. Might as well try putting it back and see what happens.

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Floating Sun Core in your Inventory – 1.

As the Sun Core slips in place, the platform shudders and stills. The Sundial mechanism starts to make some noises, but that too ends almost as quickly as it began. Other than that, nothing happens.

It shouldn’t really be surprising that after all this time, the mechanism is broken. Some of the gears seem to be missing.

Oddly enough, Rapunzel has seen some golden gears floating, yes floating, around Eternity Isle. Good Deal! Another Treasure Hunt, of sorts. But this time, you’re looking for Golden Floating Gears.

Quest Task: Talk to Rapunzel.

Quest Task: Search the Isle for Floating Sundial Gears.

It took a little bit to find all the Golden Gears. Some of those Golden Gears were pretty fast and took you on a merry chase. But in the end, you prevailed and have all ten Floating Golden Gears in your backpack.

While you were chasing Golden Gears, Rapunzel was working out how to repair the Sundial Mechanism. She takes the gears and gets to work.

Quest Task: Make sure you have all the Sundial Gears in your Inventory.

Rapunzel’s efforts were successful. As soon as she completed her repairs, the Sundial starts emitting noises and begins to move.

Before you even realize what’s happening, a bridge forms between the circular platform and the floating island you saw when you first arrived. Heading across the bridge, you come face to face with another Statue of Time. This is just what you were looking for! The Statue should hold one of the missing Jewels of Time from your Hourglass.

Your excitement was premature. When you move close to the Statue of Time, you see that the Jewel of Time is missing. Looking around the little floating island, the only thing you find is a page from a diary. The Jewel of Time is nowhere in sight.

Quest Task: The Jewel of Time is missing…Investigate the area.

Looking closer at the diary page, you realize it’s from your own diary, but written a long time ago. From the entry, it appears that Mother Gothel was interested in the Jewel of Time way back then and you wouldn’t let her have it.

Hmm, you decide to run this past Rapunzel, but you may have just reached a dead end.

Quest Task: Investigate the diary page near the Statue of Time.

Quest Task: Return to Rapunzel.
