Use Your Imagination Gaston

Jafar is using the Spark of Imagination to change Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Eternity Isle. There are Time Rifts appearing all over the island and your Hourglass is not able to close them! What is needed to close them should be simple. You just need to say “Use your Imagination, Gaston” and get him to comply. But this is Gaston and therefore this may be a more difficult task.

A Time Rift in Gaston’s Camp

Jafar is flexing his power. His use of the Spark of Imagination is causing Time Rifts to appear all over Eternity Isle. With Merlin and Oswald’s help, during Merlin’s Quest Mysterious Mickey, you know what you must do to close them. But you need Gaston’s help.

Once you get his attention, you find out that a Time Rift opened in Gaston’s camp. Head in that direction and check it out.

Never Used Imagination

Use your imagination, Gaston, should be a simple request, but not with Gaston. He doesn’t know where to start.

Maybe Oswald has some suggestions for how to coach Gaston on the use of imagination. It’s worth a try.

Inspiring Gaston’s Imagination

Oswald has good advice to share. Take Gaston to someplace that reminds him of his own heroism and worth. That will surely bring out his imagination.

When asked about some of his past heroic deeds, Gaston remembers how heroically he handled being shipwrecked on Eternity isle.

It’s a good place to start.

Gaston Has An Idea

Looking down at the site of his shipwreck, Gaston has an idea. Why don’t you build a ship in a bottle!

Way to use your Imagination, Gaston! Crafting a Ship in a Bottle is a great idea. Grab the resources you need from your storage chests or gather them from the following locations:

Softwood:

  • Found on the ground in:
    • Ancient’s Landing (Eternity Isle)
    • Plaza (Dreamlight Valley)
    • Peaceful Meadow (Dreamlight Valley)
    • Glade of Trust (Dreamlight Valley)
    • Forest of Valor (Dreamlight Valley)
  • Dig up stumps in the Forest of Valor
  • Purchase from Kristoff’s Stall for 5 Star Coins (Max 20 a day) – appears randomly

Glass:

  • Craft from Sand and Coal Ore at a Standard Crafting Station
  • Extinguish green fires in Forgotten Lands
  • Purchase from Kristoff’s Stall for 50 Star Coins (Max 20 a day) – appears randomly

Quest Task: Follow Gaston to higher ground.

A Ship in a Bottle

Hand all the materials to Gaston. It’s time to use your imagination Gaston and build the ship in a bottle yourself.

Surprisingly, it doesn’t take him long. All that’s left to do is throw it into the Time Rift!

Sealing the Time Rift

Gaston, rather sadly, throws his Ship in a Bottle into the Time Rift. It does the trick. The Time Rift collapses and closes!

Nice job! You made good use of your Imagination Gaston!
